Silly Saturday is dedicated to my pets. Since my son, S was born four years ago my pets were my babies. Now they have taken a back burner in life. I will discuss all of the funny, gross, weird, etc. things that have happened in the last week with the pets. Right now I only have three pets, 2 dogs, PJ and Derby and one fat cat, Neezer.
Neezer-Let me tell you how much easier it is for me to pet you with my feet instead of bending over and using my hand. You seem just as happy if not happier when I use my foot, so why in the world would I stop because it prevents all the cat hair from getting on my hands and then me rubbing my face. Let’s keep this up!
Derby-You must be sensing we are nearing the end of the pregnancy. I cannot believe how much you are clinging to me and not leaving my side. Everywhere I turn you are right there on my heels, unless of course B is cooking then you never leave the kitchen. Kind of ironic, you will stay with me unless tempted by food.
PJ-Do you really like chasing the squirrels, birds and rabbits? Or do you do it because of an anxiety? I love to say “squirrel” and watch you run after them, but am wondering if you do it because you love to or anxiety. I think it may be natural instinct because you will chase bunnies and squirrels that are across the street and I do not even see them. You pick up one paw, point your tail and then boom you are off. I have never seen you catch anything but B did find a squirrel hairball in the backyard and one of the squirrels has a rather thin tail. Did you manage to grab some tail hair from the squirrel?
