Salt Water Powered Flexible Night LED Light Strip Review

When I saw this I had no idea what exactly it was.  It looked like a little phone booth that held the power for a string of LED lights.  It was the power source in a sense.  I had to fill the red container with water and exactly 15g of salt.  I measured out the amount of salt on my kitchen food scale.  I wasn’t sure how long the lights were going to last compared to battery operated lights.  Battery operated lights usually only lasts for about 4 days or so if they are run 24/7.  I wanted to experiment with these lights and was surprised and can happily report that they lasted well over 30 days and were ran 24/7.  After a month of them running I truthfully lost count.  I had never refilled the water or salt but B told me that once during that period he did change the water but just added some salt and did not measure out 15g.  I never noticed a difference.   When the lights finally died there was no way to reuse them again without buying another internal component.  I could not find one online so these were really only good for one season and then I tossed them.

The Salt Water Powered Flexible Night LED Light Strip has a low voltage of DC #V output.  This is a great science experiment to do with kids and show them how different things can run on energy that does not come from batteries.  The string lights are red, green, blue, and yellow.  There are 8 different working modes that can be used to give different effects with the 100 LED string lights.  The sting of lights is waterproof so they can be used for indoor or outdoor decoration.  I used them to put up for decorations on a high shelf that I had that we could not easily get lights on without having to show an extension cord.  These lights worked great and the kids could not have been happier.
