After I put Dash in the cat tent there is no way that I could punish her and zip her into this. Instead I thought I would give it a try with Dinky. Dinky is smaller than Dash anyways, so why not? This tent would have been perfect last year for Dinky. She was just a tiny puppy and we were always worried about a hawk potentially swooping down and taking her. I wasn’t sure if we could convince Dinky to go in the tunnel on her own but she was curious and went right in without any prompting. When Dinky was in the tunnel it would roll around depending on which way she moved. She managed to move the tunnel all over the backyard with no effort.
The Roraima Outdoor Cat Tunnel came in a compact bag. It was super easy to set-up and took less than a minute. The tunnel was the perfect length for a small cat, however, Dash is not a small cat. The tunnel measured 17” in diameter, and 59” in length. The tunnel was a mesh so air could get through with no problem. I think the mesh was large enough to let mosquitos, fleas, or ticks inside. Those are the three major bugs/insects I would want to keep out and it won’t.
