Every month of Piper’s first year I will do a monthly update along with showing her pictures I get done every month.
Current Weight: 16 lbs
Weight last month: 13 lbs 8 oz
Current Length: 26 ½ in (I think they measured her wrong at the doctors last month. We measured her three times.)
Length last month: 24 1/4 in
P has grown up quite a bit in the last month. She has gained more weight than what I guessed by a pound. It may not be much to us, but is when you are a baby. She is still only drinking breastmilk. She does love to have water. We usually put it in a dropper and she will hold it herself and drink the water from it. S was already eating cereal at this age, but the doctor now recommends that we wait until 6 months. P constantly watches everything that we put in our mouths so we are going to start cereal this coming month.
P loves to be in her jumper. She can really get moving in it. It will now keep her occupied for about 15-30 minutes at a time. She likes to lie under her jungle gym for short periods of time. We decided to get her a traditional walker hoping that she would be content to not be held all the time as long as she was in the room with us. So far it hasn’t worked. She does like sitting in it, especially so she can look out the back door and watch either B working or S playing outside.
For Halloween, she is a pig. No real big surprise there. This is the same costume that S wore. Its size is 6-9 months so it was quite big on P, but she had to wear the same costume. I love how the pictures turned out and hope you enjoy them, too.
