A few months ago I got a sample of Perfectly Posh The Ritual face mask in my Snail Mail Sunday freebies. I loved the mask and then a consultant Andrea Silveira contacted me and asked me if I would like to try some samples. Of course, I love samples.
Perfectly Posh brings youthful, bright, and sparkling extension on pampering products. This is geared toward every girl who needs pampered. The Perfectly Posh products are made with no soy ingredients (empty fillers), parabens (petroleum-derived), animal testing (cruelty-free), lanolin (irritating & animal-derived), petroleum sulfates (harsh on skin), and phthalates (cheap fragrance has ‘em).
I wanted to do the samples justice, so made sure I took my time and tried every sample to give it a fair review.
Hey, Honey Healing Hand Cream (4 oz-$14)-A honey infused, intense moisture hand crème. The crème nourishes and heals small tears in skin on hard working hands. Keeps skin looking bright and beautiful.
This hand cream smells so good. The lotion was nice and did not leave a greasy residue. It did great on my dry hands and definitely helped heal the cracks in my cuticles. I may have to get the full size product. I cannot stop smelling my hands that is how much I love the smell.
Hot Pepper Sha-Bang Butter (7.5 oz-$22)-A cocoa butter based, deep penetrating muscle rub. Capsicum (pepper) gets deep into skin, warming and soothing. Great for tired, tight muscles. Amplify the effect by applying a warm towel or low-heat electric pad.
I decided to try this on my round ligaments that are so sore from being pregnant. My body does not like to be pregnant and when my belly starts to grow it does not like it and causes pain. This lotion had a nice clean smell to it. I did rub it on my ligaments and it did help to alleviate some of the pain and make sleeping a little easier for a few nights. I did use a heating pad one time to try the heat on it, and it did seem to make a difference.
SugarFix Sugar Scrub (9 oz-$22)-A naturally based, non-oily sugar body scrub. Scrubs and soothes skin gently. Sugar breaks down of dead skin, dry layers to reveal fresh and new skin. Honey aids in healing small tears or damage. Continued use will help keep skin healthy and moisturized.
This had a very floral fragrance to it that does not necessarily appeal to me. When I opened the container it looked like sugar mixed with water. It was crazy. I thought it had a greasy feel to it when I was rubbing it on. There felt like a greasy residue was left on my hand when I was done.
The Saint (8 oz-$22)-A rich honey and avocado moisture infusion mask. Nutrient rich butters, oils, and fruits moisturize. Ideal for naturally dry skin and skin that spends time in the elements. Rich in vitamin C for revitalization, plus healing honey, and gentle glycerin.
This mask has a very strong fragrance. I am not sure if I could use this on a daily basis because of the strong scent. I liked how it felt going on my face, and did make it feel nice and soft when it was done.
Moisturize 911 (4 oz-$15)-A light, daily moisturizer loaded with caffeine for tightening and brightening. Nourishes and moisturizes gently with glycerin and aloe while adding a pop of tightening with caffeine.
This had a really nice clean, citrus smell. When I rubbed on the lotion I did not notice any tightening instantly. I probably have to use it a little longer to see the tightening. I really thought it did happen to bring some brightness to my skin.
Big FAT Yummy Hand Crème-Hottie Patottie (3 fl oz-$9)-A creamy and nourished non-greasy hand crème. Adds butter and vitamins plus fabulous fragrance to tired, dry, hard-working hands without leaving them feeling oily.
I loved this hand cream. It had a really nice fruity perfume scent to it and I think on days that I used this lotion I would not use any perfume. It really was a great scent. The lotion really felt like it was getting deep into my skin and helped with the dry hands. I may have to think about getting some of this. It really is yummy!
Overall I was really happy with all of the samples I was sent. I can’t thank Andrea enough for turning me onto something I may never have found without her.
