We always need to give PJ (our dog) a bath. It doesn’t matter if she had one the day before she always smells like a stinky dog. Dry shampoo is the perfect thing to use on PJ in between baths. While she is not actually dirty she does still have a stinky dog smell. The Paw Choice Dry Dog Shampoo was Mango and Pomegranate scented. It had a nice sweet fruity smell.
The dry dog shampoo was a pump that foam came out of. I pumped it onto PJ’s back and then had to rub it in. PJ did not really appreciate the wet feeling. When I was done rubbing it in, my hand was covered in hair and PJ looked like she just got a bath. While this is a dry dog shampoo, it does not go on and keep the dog dry, it simply means after you put it on the dog you don’t have to rinse it out.
I have a deodorizer spray that I use on PJ and the best part of it is I don’t have to rub it in and have dog hair stuck to my hands. The dry dog shampoo did a great job at masking the smell and lasted for about 2-3 days before I noticed the smell coming back again.
