I am already thinking about what to do for P’s next birthday party. When I was pregnant with S I really wanted a 1st birthday barnyard theme. I didn’t do that with either. I thought I may do that for P’s 2nd birthday, but now I am thinking garden party.
I have always loved these pom-pom tissue paper flowers, but was never really sure how to make them. I got five of them in a pack. In the pack were two different sizes. Two large, a light pink and dark pink. Three were small, a light pink, dark pink, and orange. Orange seemed a little off when I was expecting all pink so I decided to use the orange pom pom to figure out how to make these.
It was actually really simple to make. The pom poms came prefolded and cut. All I had to do was pull each layer of tissue paper up one at a time. The orange worked out perfectly to help decorate for Halloween. I also tried to make a few of my own. They did not turn out nearly as good as the ones I got. I think I will leave it to the professionals and not make any more myself.
