I have been a part of Mom’s Ambassador for a while now. I have always applied to sample items for them and finally got picked for one. I was selected to try NatureRaised Farms Chicken. I love to eat chicken as long as B cooks it so this was perfect for me. NatureRaised Farms works with dedicated family farmers and producers. They are committed to all-natural ingredients and never add hormones, steroids, or antibotics. NatureRaised Farms brings in independent agencies to certify the welfare of the animals. On every package of chicken it says, “No Antibiotics Ever, 100% Vegetarian Diet, and 100% All Natural” to let you know how important it is to them that the chicken is all natural.
Included in the package I received for this sampling were:
- 1-$15 voucher for four packs of Nature Raised Farms Chicken
- 1 Reusable Grocery Shopping Tote
- 1 Wooden Spoon
- 1 Recipe booklet with coupon (I received more in the mail 2 days after I had the chicken sampling)
I decided to serve the chicken the same time I was doing the House Party since there would be the same adults and children at both parties. I thought the best way to serve the chicken that everyone would enjoy was chicken shish kabobs. To go along with the all natural theme of the chicken, I selected fresh vegetables out of our garden. Since we do not use any fertilizers or pesticides this was a perfect pairing. On the shish kabobs themselves were red, and yellow peppers, onions, zucchini, and of course chicken. We also had grilled summer squash and zucchini on the side. When B was buying the chicken he chose to get chicken breasts. While the $15 coupon did help to pay for some of the chicken it was not free and B had to spend just under $10 to get the four packs of chicken necessary to use the coupon.
While I did not take pictures of everyone eating the chicken, I did take pictures of the food. Everyone enjoyed the chicken. An overall consensus was that it did not taste any different from any other chicken, and B said it cooked just the same. So would I go back and seek out Nature Raised Farms chicken, probably not because the cost of it was almost double what we pay for chicken breast. I did enjoy hosting a Mom’s Ambassador sampling party and cannot wait to do my next.
