Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
My Weekly Goals-I have no goals for the week, just trying to get more stuff done around the house to get caught up.
Monday-Today we are going to sign S up for tee ball and a few other camps up at the city rec. I made strawberry pies so we are dropping off pieces to my sister and dad. I still need to find my nephew and S a shirt that matches so we are going to head down to the Mud Hens and see if they can help me out. The rest of the day we are just going to hang out at home.
Tuesday-Another day of hanging out at home.
Wednesday-We don’t have any plans. It is going to be a hot one, so we are hanging out at home and maybe some swimming.
Thursday-S has his meet the team for tee ball. He gets his shirt and hat and they toss the ball around a little. Afterward S is going to a clay art class and P and I will go for a walk. We may go out to see my aunt and uncle at their new house. In the evening we are going to the farmer’s market.
Friday-B is off. There are no plans as of yet.
Saturday-There is a Lego build at Toys R Us. The rest of the day we are just hanging out.
Sunday-Today is Father’s Day. B has to work so we are going to hang out with my dad.
Last Week Recap
Monday we hung at B’s parents while they worked on the new addition. I took my nephews with me so they could help out again. There really wasn’t much for them to do, so we watched them pour the walls.
Tuesday we went back to B’s parents and my nephews came again. My nephews ended up working a ton and were a big help. I left them there when I took P home for her nap.
Wednesday we spent the day hanging out at home. I needed to try to catch up on the house and the kids were tired and just wanted to spend the day at home.
Thursday we hung out at home and went to the farmer’s market in the evening when B got home from work. We ended running into our neighbors and walked the entire farmer’s market with them.
Friday we went to Haslinger’s Orchard to get strawberries. They were already picked but they are by far the best I have ever had. Afterward we stopped at B’s aunts so the kids could play. S loves playing with his cousin L.
Saturday I ran around shopping at different stores trying to find outfits for S and my nephew. I didn’t find them matching outfits but I did find some good deals for S. B took the kids to his parents while he worked on the new addition. The rest of the day I hung out at home. I made three strawberry pies in the evening.
Sunday B worked and we went to my brother’s to give him a strawberry pie. My grandma used to make him a strawberry pie for his birthday (it’s in December) and I have wanted to make him one. I couldn’t find my grandma’s recipe so I made him my strawberry pie. We ended up staying for the afternoon and hanging out. The kids got to play with their Uncle J and Aunt S. S was so happy he got to hang out with his cousin and play Minecraft. They were both so tuckered out that they fell asleep on the way home. P didn’t even make it down the street from their house before she was sleeping.
Last Week
My Weekly Goals-I would like to get pictures of all the items that I need to review and get all the items taken care of and put away.
Monday-My nephews are coming over again and we are headed to B’s parents for the day.
Tuesday-We are headed to B’s parents for the day, again.
Wednesday-Same as yesterday and Monday.
Thursday-I am not sure what work is going to be done at B’s parents today so we will either head over there in the morning or just hang out at home. Strawberries are getting ripe so I am definitely going to the farmer’s market to see if they have strawberries.
Friday-B is off so I am guessing we will either be hanging out at home catching up around the house or hanging over at B’s parents while he helps out.
Saturday-Today is the Cherry Fest in Whitehouse so we will go to the parade and then head home for P’s nap. I think the rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.
Sunday-It looks like another recovery day.
