Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-I am planning on throwing my House Party, Tryazon, and Mom’s Meet parties tonight because I never had time to do them this past weekend. I also have to make a pear pie because the pears are starting to go bad. I rescheduled P and S’s Halloween/Fall pictures for afterschool.
Tuesday-I plan on cleaning up from the parties and working on my Monday and Tuesday posting. I also need to make a fruit pizza because the raspberries B bought are starting to get too ripe. Hopefully P will go with the flow and take her naps.
Wednesday-S has soccer in the evening and P is going to my sister’s again for round 2. They really want to try to watch her. I also need to return a jacket to Children’s Place. Maybe I can talk B into running with me.
Thursday-I plan on making a trip to Target today either in the morning with S or after I put him on the bus. There is the farmer’s market in the afternoon/evening. Either B will go with us or we will all go together before B leaves for work.
Friday-No plans for today but the twins are in town so maybe something with them. If not we will just hang out at home.
Saturday-S has his last soccer game of the season. B wants to take S to the Blissfield Train Club to check out their displays either today or tomorrow. There is a Lego build at Toys R Us.
Sunday-If they didn’t go yesterday B will take S to the Blissfield Train Club. I am hoping to try to do something with my sister because the twins are in town and I have not seen them since this summer.
Last Week Recap
I did manage to get all of the laundry folded last week, and put away everyone’s but mine. Now I am onto laundry again this week.
On Monday I got B to go to Target with me. I managed to find a ton of Tigers t-shirts 70% off but have not had a chance to do a post on them. I was going to for Saturday Sales but the weekend got away from me.
Tuesday we ended up hanging out at home and after S got off the bus we ran some errands. I needed to go to Toys R Us for diapers. S usually begs not to run errands but when I told him this is what we were doing he was excited and jumped in the car. Any chance to get a look at toys.
Wednesday S had soccer. P stayed home with B and I got an hour of alone time to sit and read in the warm sun. What a great little break.
Thursday we ended up cancelling our pictures appointment because P skipped her first nap and there was no way I was taking her to get pictures without a nap. She already hates getting her pictures. We went to the farmer’s market in the evening.
Friday we hung out at home. Saturday we went to Tecumseh to ride the Fall Color Tour Train Ride. This was P’s first train ride. We surprised S and invited his cousin L (who is his best friend) to go with us. S was so happy to have L go with us. We had a great time on the train. Unfortunately it was P’s nap time so she was a handful. After we got home we hung out and S got to play with L a little while longer. I was so tired I fell asleep reading S his bedtime story and slept on his floor for a few hours. When I woke up I ended up staying up for quite a while because I had reviews for Tomoson that had to get done.
Sunday was the Power Wheels Demolition Derby in Norwalk OH. It is one of the biggest demolition derby’s around. This year was no exception. There were 29 Power Wheels and 121 cars in the demolition derby. Some cars competed in more than one class so in total there were over 180 applicants. (Does that make sense?) S got the day started with his demolition at about 1:15pm. At 6:30pm, we finally called it a day and they still had one more round to go. It was about 2 ½ hours past the time I was ready to go. It was such a long day that I put P in the front carrier facing me and she actually fell asleep. That hasn’t happened since she was about 8 months old. That should show how tired she was. S wanted to stay till the end so that is why we stayed for so long. He was really bummed we weren’t sticking around for the last heat. He also was too tired to fight us on it. Same thing happened to me as it did Saturday night. I fell asleep typing a review so I layed down on the couch and took a nap for a few hours. I fell asleep in the middle of The Walking Dead season premiere (that should tell you how tired I was). I ended up waking up around 11pm and worked on some reviews that were due. I never got a chance to do my Manic Monday post.
Last Week
Weekly Goals-I have 6 baskets of laundry on the couch that need folded. I managed to get it all done this weekend but never got a chance to fold it.
Monday-Not much going on today. I think B and I may run errand with P after S gets on the bus. B has to work so the kids and I will be hanging out at home after school.
Tuesday-B will be sleeping in the morning and the rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.
Wednesday-S has soccer in the evening and we are just chilling out at home the rest of the day.
Thursday-I really want to get the kids Halloween pictures done. We have to do it after S gets out of school and P I awake from her nap. This looks like the only day this week we can get it done and B is off. There’s also the farmer’s market.
Friday-Not sure what is going on it looks like right now we are just hanging out at home.
Saturday-S has his soccer game early in the morning. I think we are going to do a little shindig with the neighbors if I can swing it.
Sunday-This looks like the last Powerwheels Demolition Derby of the year. It also looks like the biggest one around. Last year there was over 30 Powerwheels in the derby. They are also having a regular demolition derby which we all love to go and watch.
