Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

First and foremost I want to congratulate Liz V and Lauren A to winning the Veri Soda giveaway.  Be on the lookout for emails.

I never got a chance to post this late Sunday night, Monday or even Tuesday.  I was so busy playing outside with the little ones I never even cracked my laptop open.  So I am going to post this and skip the pictures.  You will have to check in on Foto Friday for a recap of the pics.

This Week

My Weekly Goals: My goals are going to solely focusing on getting ready for P’s party. This week I want to get her bubble happy birthday sign made and a few other decorations.

Monday-S has school and then we are going to be hanging out at home.

Tuesday-Another day of being home.

Wednesday-S has a two hour delay and then we may head out to my uncle and aunts for a few hours. Other than that we will just be at home.

Thursday-As of now we have no plans, but who knows.

Friday-S has school in the morning and if the weather is nice we will be outside. Hopefully the union will actually host there Friday strike dinner. They haven’t done it the past few weeks.

Saturday-S has another soccer game and it looks like it is going to be nice for his game.

Sunday-We have a First Communion and a baby shower. I think S and B are going to go to the First Communion and P and I will be headed to the baby shower. We will all meet up at B’s cousins later.

Last Week Recap

I got P’s invitations out last week. I finally got a weekly goal accomplished in the week I planned.

I got P’s pictures done on Monday and they turned out so cute.

Tuesday we were just home, hanging out. I decided tonight was the night I was going to let P cry it out at bedtime. Well after 15 minutes of crying she fell asleep. I can happily say a week later and while she fusses for about a minute she is going to bed by herself now.

Wednesday S had school and we spent the rest of the day at home. Thursday was much of the same.

Friday S had his spring program at school. It was so cute. I loved watching him sing with all his little friends. There was an art show and brunch after the show. I talked to a bunch of moms and S got to be the center of his grandparents. S then had kindergarten sign-up afterward and did great. He is officially registered. Now we just have to wait and see if he is in morning or afternoon kindergarten. Hopefully it is morning!

Saturday morning S had a soccer game. He scored his first goal of the season. I was so excited when he kicked that ball in the goal. It wasn’t an oops and it rolled in. He meant to kick it in and it went. S scored a second goal, sadly it was an oops and in the other teams goal. It didn’t matter I promised ice cream if he scored a goal and we went for ice cream after his game. The rest of the day I hung out at home with P. B and S went over to B’s parents and played on a Bobcat all afternoon. They then fixed a few things on the Bobcat and returned it. It was well after S’s bedtime when they got home.

Sunday we hung out at home. S played outside almost the entire day. B worked in the garage, and I played with P.

Last Week

Weekly Goals-I am hoping to finish P’s birthday invitations and get them out ASAP.

Monday-I have P’s 11 month pictures scheduled while S is in school. The rest of the day we are just going to hang out at home and try to keep getting better.

Tuesday-We are just hanging out at home. These colds are kicking our butt so we are still trying to get better.

Wednesday-S has school and the rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Thursday-Another day of no plans.

Friday-Today is going to be busy. S has his spring program/art show at school in the morning and then we are off to kindergarten registration. I cannot believe my baby is getting registered for kindergarten. If the union hall has dinner we plan on going in the evening.

Saturday-S has another soccer game.

Sunday-As of now we are just going to be home.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
