Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Weekly Goals-I would like to get all of the Target Christmas finds organized and put away for next year.

Monday-S is back to school. It has been two weeks of him being home and now it is time to go back. I am excited to have a few hours of quiet time. I found a Crazy Cart at Target yesterday on sale for $199. I think B is going to run and get it this morning. If P is up we may run with him. Don’t want to miss a chance to go to Target.

Tuesday-I plan on just hanging out at home until B has to go to work.

Wednesday-S has school, and then we are hanging out at home.

Thursday-It looks like another quiet day. I am going to run to Target and see what they are marking down in the Toy section. That winter toy markdown is coming up fast. I am hoping the big markdown is next week because I am having hand surgery a week from Friday.

Friday-S has school. We have B’s company Christmas party in the evening. This is the first time that I am leaving P with someone other than B. She will be in good hands with B’s cousin. If not she loves B’s cousins husband because he has a beard like Papa’s. She will hang onto his beard and not let go so she can’t be put down.

Saturday-We have a baptism and birthday party. S is going to love playing with his cousins again.

Sunday-No plans for today yet probably just recovering from the past two busy days.

Last Week Recap

It was a slow and fun week. Not a whole lot happened on Monday and Tuesday. We basically just hung out at home. Wednesday I ran to a few Targets before B had to go to work and got some Christmas clearance at 70% off. New Year’s Eve was quiet. The kids were both asleep by 9pm; I worked on the blog, and turned in around midnight. New Year’s Day we ran to a few stores (Kohl’s and Wal-Mart) and hung out at home. Thursday and Friday we just hung out at home. Saturday we got up early and went to Target to find the Christmas clearance was still 70%. We went to Home Depot and did the build. S actually wanted to go and build a sled. We went to a birthday party at night for a few of S’s cousins. They had their party at a gymnastics place. S loved playing with all the gymnastic equipment.

Sunday we spent the first part of the day going to all the Targets for 90% Christmas clearance. P was so out of her element when we don’t follow a schedule that she came home inhaled her baby food, nursed and passed out for 3 hours. The shopping definitely kicked her butt.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
