Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

My Weekly Goals-This week I want to work on the computer room to get it semi-organized. I am also hoping to work on a couple of posts.

Monday-S has school, other than that we are just going to be hanging out at home.

Tuesday-As of right now, we don’t have any plans.

Wednesday-S has school in the morning. B is off so maybe we can get some stuff done around the house.

Thursday-Our Christmas pictures come back today so I am hoping to get all the holiday cards addressed and sent out in the mail.

Friday-S has school in the morning and then I think we are just going to be hanging out at home.

Saturday-Home Depot has a build in the morning to make holiday yard stakes. S hasn’t wanted to go to the past two builds so I am not sure if I can talk him in to going. He told me he is done doing builds. The funny thing is you’re supposed to be five before you even start and S won’t be five till later this month.

Last Week Recap

It was a busy week and a quiet week all in one if that makes sense. I did finalize my Black Friday shopping list on Wednesday with B. I never got a chance to post the list, which was long. Monday we went to S’s Thankful program at school. It was so cute. Each child brought something that they were thankful for and shared it with the class. They then sang a few songs and showed us the prayer they say before eating their snack every day.

Tuesday we hung out at home. Wednesday S did not have school so we ran some errands. We went to Costco to get fruit for fruit pizza. We planned on going to see Santa at Bass Pro, but P fell asleep and I didn’t want to wake her. We had Thanksgiving dinner at B’s aunts and then finalized Black Friday lists.

Thursday S got up and watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. This is the first year he really got it and was totally into it. S and I finished the fruit pizza turkey and then off to my mom’s for our lunch feast. We hung out there most of the day and B left early to start shopping. My niece introduced S to Minecraft. While I have tried steering S clear of video games, it somehow seems inevitable.

Friday morning B went shopping while we hung out at home. It was a pretty quiet day at home. Saturday we hung out at home, then B left for work, and S, P, and I went to the lights parade. I was lucky enough to find a parking spot close enough that we could sit in the car and watch. I ended up caving and bought S Minecraft for his tablet. He has very limited access to it, because really who wants a kid that plays video games all day long?

Sunday we hung out at home during the day and then went to the Perrysburg holiday parade. It was a really nice day outside. A little windy, but above 60°. I told S he had to go out and play when B went outside.

Last Week

My Weekly Goals-I am hoping to get my shopping list for Black Friday done by Wednesday. If I can manage it I plan to post my shopping list for all of you to see.

Monday-S has school and then a Thankful program at the end of his day. I love his little programs they have at school. Derby is going to the vets to get her teeth cleaned. I am hoping it is going to help with the god awful breath of hers.

Tuesday-It looks like it is going to be a quiet day at home.

Wednesday-We are making a run to Costco to get fruit. My niece requested fruit pizza for Thanksgiving. She is a picky eater (along with S), so this is something they will both eat.

Thursday-We are headed to my mom’s for Thanksgiving lunch (we are eating at 1pm). It works out for us because in the evening I will take the kids home and B will head out for some crazy shopping. You never know I have been known to go and take the kids with me. If I keep P and B watches S it is smooth sailing at the stores with them.

Friday-I think B may head out in the morning to Menards; otherwise it will be a day of eating leftovers and hanging out at home.

Saturday-During the day we are hanging out at home and in the evening we are heading to Maumee for the Lights Parade. I am hoping to park right on the street like I have in previous years so we can sit in the car and be toasty warm.

Sunday-After B wakes up we will be heading uptown for the local holiday parade. Then it will be time to head home and get ready for school.

That is too funny about the builds. We are just getting into going to them and N is and C is 3. The went last week for the bank build but we have breakfast with Santa this Saturday so not sure we will make it before it is over for the yard stakes this week. I did sign them up to make the Santa Train at Lowes on the 13th. I think N likes going since I don’t go and its just boy time 😉 We really sell the boy time with it so that they don’t expect me to be there and I get a few minutes to myself at home. hehe

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
