Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

My Weekly Goals: I bought a half bushel of apples yesterday from Haslinger Orchards to make more baby food/applesauce. Luckily, B helped me and we did all the apples last night!

Monday-I need to make a trip to Costco to pick up pictures so I can finally get P’s baptism thank you cards out. B is heading over to my parents to help with the yard while S is in school. It is going to be nice outside so B plans on working on trimming the bushes outside and maybe we can get some Christmas decorations put up outside.

Tuesday-Not a whole lot planned. It is supposed to be nice, so if the rain holds off we will be hanging outside playing.

Wednesday-No plans except for school and maybe a stop at the library.

Thursday-No plans. I may make a run to Target when B gets up before he goes to work.

Friday-I am debating about scheduling our holiday pictures for this afternoon. I have everyone’s outfits picked out except for me of course. That is how it always works out.

Saturday-B will be home, so I am sure we will do something.

Sunday-No plans for today

Last Week Recap

It was a crazy week. We spent the beginning of last week with S recovering from the stomach flu.

My sick boy!

Wednesday P and I ran around to all the Targets getting 90% Halloween clearance.

The rest of the week we just hung out at home playing quietly.  Friday when B got home from work, we went to Toys R Us so S could check out all the toys and see what he liked and/or wanted for Christmas. Saturday we were supposed to go to a build at Lowe’s but S did not feel like it and it wasn’t a cool build anyway so we passed on it. Sunday we hung out at home. I started peeling apples before B got home to make baby food and sliced off part of my nail. After that I waited till B came home and he peeled the rest of the apples for me.

My middle finger missing part of my nail. It was as long as the others before the apple peeler got the better of it!

Last Week

There are not really any big plans for this week. Every day is just going to depend on what Target does with their Halloween clearance. I know who lives there life based on how Target does there markdowns? I don’t really need to go, but love it. I like to find goodies for S to have in his class, crafts for S to make next year and the occasional decoration. Don’t forget about those hidden clearance items.

My Weekly Goals: This week I would love to be able to work on the computer room getting it organized. My scrapbooking stuff is screaming to get cleaned up.

Monday-I am going to drop S off at school and make a run to Target. I am hoping the Halloween clearance will be 70% off. If so, I know where I will be the entire time S is at school.

Tuesday-If Halloween didn’t go 70% on Monday then I am heading out first thing in the morning.

Wednesday-S has school and I am going to again drop him off and head to Target. We have parent/teacher conference in the afternoon. I can only imagine what she is going to say to us about S.

Thursday-No plans other than maybe a Target run.

Friday-S has no school today. Right now we have no plans but I am sure something will come up.

Saturday-We have a Lowe’s build in the morning and then just hanging out at home.

Sunday-Just another day of hanging out at home.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
