Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

There are not really any big plans for this week. Every day is just going to depend on what Target does with their Halloween clearance. I know who lives there life based on how Target does there markdowns? I don’t really need to go, but love it. I like to find goodies for S to have in his class, crafts for S to make next year and the occasional decoration. Don’t forget about those hidden clearance items.

My Weekly Goals: This week I would love to be able to work on the computer room getting it organized. My scrapbooking stuff is screaming to get cleaned up.

Monday-I am going to drop S off at school and make a run to Target. I am hoping the Halloween clearance will be 70% off. If so, I know where I will be the entire time S is at school.

Tuesday-If Halloween didn’t go 70% on Monday then I am heading out first thing in the morning.

Wednesday-S has school and I am going to again drop him off and head to Target. We have parent/teacher conference in the afternoon. I can only imagine what she is going to say to us about S.

Thursday-No plans other than maybe a Target run.

Friday-S has no school today. Right now we have no plans but I am sure something will come up.

Saturday-We have a Lowe’s build in the morning and then just hanging out at home.

Sunday-Just another day of hanging out at home.

Last Week Recap

We attended quite a few Halloween events. We went trick or treating to the businesses in Maumee and later in the week to Perrysburg. I hated it but we braved the rain and did a little trick or treating on Friday. We spent the rest of the night with S handing candy out to kids with his cousins.

Monday I managed to get P’s baptism pictures done and then we went trick or treating to the businesses in Maumee.

Tuesday and Wednesday we hung out at home. The weather was a little weird with high winds and rain. Thursday we hung out at home and worked on making meringue treats for S to take to his Halloween party.

Friday B and I went to S’s school for his Halloween parade and they sang a few songs for us. We then went trick or treating to the businesses in downtown Perrysburg, in the rain. Of course, we went trick or treating Friday night.

Saturday we went to a build at Home Depot, and hung out at home for the rest of the day. S had a little bit of a bug.

Sunday we hung out at home.

Last Week

My Weekly Goals: To take S to as many Halloween events as he wants to go to.

Monday-The weather is going to be awesome so we will be outside most of the day. I am going to try to get P’s baptism pictures done.

Tuesday-We are just hanging out at home. With a prediction of high winds and 80% chance of rain we made no plans.

Wednesday-We have no plans to for today. S asked me to pick him up from school and stop at the library on the way home.

Thursday-No plans for today unless I can find a Halloween event happening.

Friday-Today is Halloween! S is having a little Halloween party and parade at school. After school depending on the weather we may go Trick-or-Treating at the businesses in downtown Perrysburg. In the evening we are going to my parents to Trick-or-Treat. For the past two years S has wanted to pass out candy and do a little Trick-or-Treating. This year he says he wants to do the same.

Saturday-Anderson’s is having Trunk-or-Treating. If S wants to go we will, if not we will take down Halloween decorations and put up the few Thanksgiving decorations we have.

Sunday-As of now no plans for the day.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
