Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-I am hoping to work on a few Halloween craft projects with S. I wanted to make ghost to hang from the trees outside. B and S have Daddy night at preschool.

Tuesday-My sister is going to come over to hold P so I can work on getting some stuff done around the house to get ready for the baptism. If P would be happy to sit and watch me it would be no problem, but she wants someone to hold her so she can sit and watch.

Wednesday-It doesn’t look like right now we have any plans other than hanging out at home and getting ready for P’s baptism.

Thursday-My sister is going to come over again to help with P.

Friday-I will be spending most of the day making P’s cake for her baptism and B will be working on making chili for the baptism party. I also am planning on getting P’s 5 month pictures done while S is in school in the morning.

Saturday-S has his last soccer game of the season. In the afternoon/evening we have P’s baptism.

Sunday-B is going to help his cousin and we will be spending the rest of the day recovering.

Last Week Recap

My mom walked on two different days for a total of over 6 hours and could not find the last two houses on our scavenger hunt. It is driving us nuts and I guess we are going to turn in our papers two shy. Oh well, I gave it my best effort.

It was a pretty quiet week for us. We spent most of the time hanging out at home. Tuesday we did go out to see S’s great grandma’s (my grandma) grave. When we got out there I showed him the grave stone and what does he say, “Ok we can go now!” On our way home we got a call from my mom that we could go over and see my dad. S was so excited. He had to wear a mask because of his cold, but didn’t seem to mind. Thursday we went to the last farmer’s market. I was able to get my much beloved apple cider. I think I am going to make a trip down to the orchard this week for more so we can have it at P’s baptism party. Friday S had his first field trip and had a ton of fun. Go figure we forgot his book bag at home so I had to run home grab it and then drop it off at school. I didn’t want him freaking out because he was the only child without in his class. I didn’t get the email the day before that said the children did not have to bring their backpacks since they were walking to 577 Foundation. Saturday S had his soccer game which he loves. He didn’t score any goals this week, but he sure did run a bunch. He is quite the little runner. The rest of the day we hung out at home and decorated for Halloween/Fall.

Sunday we went over to my mom’s and S hung out with Papa while we went looking for the last two houses on the scavenger hunt. We didn’t find the houses, but S had a great time hanging out with his Papa.

Last Week

My Weekly Goals: This week I am hoping to find the last two houses on the house scavenger hunt. I need to get out and walk with P while S is in school.

Monday-Not a lot going on today. Hanging out at home and S has school.

Tuesday-S has been asking to see his great grandma’s grave so we are going to venture out so he can see it. Other than that we are just going to be hanging out at home.

Wednesday-B is home all day so we will just get some stuff done around the house. S has school in the morning. Maybe I can sleep in a little.

Thursday-I am pretty sure this is the last farmer’s market of the year. We definitely have to go and get apple cider. It is going to be a quiet week so another day of hanging out at home.

Friday-S has school and his first field trip. I am so glad that they are walking to 577 Foundation because I don’t like anyone to drive S. (A little bit of a control freak.)

Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s and then off to his soccer game. I think the rest of the day we will just hang out at home.

Sunday-Something is going on today. I for the life of me cannot remember, but B told me about something happening today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
