Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

My Weekly Goals: This week I am hoping to find the last two houses on the house scavenger hunt. I need to get out and walk with P while S is in school.

Monday-Not a lot going on today. Hanging out at home and S has school.

Tuesday-S has been asking to see his great grandma’s grave so we are going to venture out so he can see it. Other than that we are just going to be hanging out at home.

Wednesday-B is home all day so we will just get some stuff done around the house. S has school in the morning. Maybe I can sleep in a little.

Thursday-I am pretty sure this is the last farmer’s market of the year. We definitely have to go and get apple cider. It is going to be a quiet week so another day of hanging out at home.

Friday-S has school and his first field trip. I am so glad that they are walking to 577 Foundation because I don’t like anyone to drive S. (A little bit of a control freak.)

Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s and then off to his soccer game. I think the rest of the day we will just hang out at home.

Sunday-Something is going on today. I for the life of me cannot remember, but B told me about something happening today.

Last Week Recap

Last week was crazy busy. Since my dad was in a motorcycle accident I spent some time up at the hospital. We also went over to my parents to help out, so B mowed the lawn, S and I picked up sticks, and we took Sparky for walks. S had a scheduled school delay Wednesday and picture day. He was happy about getting pictures. P spent some quality time with B because babies are not allowed in ICU. We spent one day running around getting all of my dad’s stuff off his motorcycle. We swung by Home Depot for the build and then on to S’s game. S scored his first goal in soccer. He scored the one and only goal for his team. Most of the weekend I spent trying to assemble the baptism invitations. I got everything done and just needed to get it all together. P cooperated on Sunday night and slept in her bouncer next to me on the floor for a few hours so I could finish the invitations.

Update: My dad has come from the hospital and is on the mend.

My Weekly Goals: This week I need to make and send out P’s baptism invitations. That is really the only thing that has to get done this week.

Monday-S has school. B is going to watch P so I can go up to the hospital and sit with my dad for a while (he was in a motorcycle accident over the weekend). Unexpectedly we are going to go to Chuck E Cheese because S earned it.

Tuesday-As far as I can tell we are just going to be hanging out at home. Hopefully I can work on the invitations.

Wednesday-S has a scheduled two hour delay and school pictures. The afternoon we are just going to be hanging out. I am going to try to go up to the hospital to visit my dad.

Thursday-We are just going to be hanging out at home and then go to the farmer’s market in the afternoon.

Friday-S has school and we are just going to hang out at home the rest of the day.

Saturday-S has a build at Home Depot, a soccer game, and the rest of the day we are hanging out at home.

Sunday-As of right now we have no plans.

It looks like it is going to be a relatively quiet week on the home front. I will be spending some time up at the hospital, but have to balance it all with B working, and taking care of the kids. I can’t stay away from P too long because of breastfeeding.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
