Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
First and foremost Winners for the Zevia Giveaway are Liz V, Bethany C, and Robert H. Please check your emails. I look forward to hearing from you.
My Weekly Goals: This week I need to make and send out P’s baptism invitations. That is really the only thing that has to get done this week.
Monday-S has school. B is going to watch P so I can go up to the hospital and sit with my dad for a while (he was in a motorcycle accident over the weekend). Unexpectedly we are going to go to Chuck E Cheese because S earned it.
Tuesday-As far as I can tell we are just going to be hanging out at home. Hopefully I can work on the invitations.
Wednesday-S has a scheduled two hour delay and school pictures. The afternoon we are just going to be hanging out. I am going to try to go up to the hospital to visit my dad.
Thursday-We are just going to be hanging out at home and then go to the farmer’s market in the afternoon.
Friday-S has school and we are just going to hang out at home the rest of the day.
Saturday-S has a build at Home Depot, a soccer game, and the rest of the day we are hanging out at home.
Sunday-As of right now we have no plans.
It looks like it is going to be a relatively quiet week on the home front. I will be spending some time up at the hospital, but have to balance it all with B working, and taking care of the kids. I can’t stay away from P too long because of breastfeeding.
Last Week Recap
It was a chaotic week for us. Monday my mom and I walked around looking for houses in the scavenger hunt and were able to find almost all of them. We only have a few more to look for. Tuesday we hung out at home. Wednesday S went to school and we spent the rest of the day at home.
Thursday we went to B’s aunt and S got to play with his cousin L for most of the afternoon. We met B at the farmer’s market in the evening and don’t you know it they ran out of apple cider from my favorite orchard before I got any. We are going to make a special trip down to the orchard to get some.
Friday B picked up overtime, S had a school delay due to fog, and in the evening when B got home we ran to the mall and Costco. My dad got in an automobile accident so I have been dealing with that all weekend. Saturday S had another soccer game and this week he was on it. He was running like crazy after the ball and kicking it. P and I took a much-needed afternoon nap, and B and S went to the Luckey Fall Festival.
Sunday B picked up some overtime and S, P and I went to my cousin’s wedding reception. S had an awesome time. They had a magician and he loved it. P got to hang out with her Uncle F most of the time and they spent it in a rocking chair.

M is running in a color run with a group on Saturday morning but he hopes to be done in time to head out to the home depot build. My boys love going there each month but I’m not saying anything incase it doesn’t work out. 🙁
I need to get in and make some Thank you cards. I’ve been slacking in my crafting and that really needs to get fixed soon. 🙂
