Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

My Weekly Goals: This week I am going to try to finally get all the professional pictures in photo albums, I have wanted to do it for a while and never gotten around to it. I also would like to get all the pears done this week. The only way that is going to happen is if P cooperates.

Monday-S has school and P has her 4 month pictures. The afternoon we are just going to hang out at home.

Tuesday-PJ is getting groomed today. She so badly needs it. She is getting a good wash and defurminated. Totally worth the cost and I am spending my birthday money on it.

Wednesday-S has school. P has her 4 month doctor appointment and I am sure she will be getting a few shots. I am making no plans for the afternoon in case she is crabby from the shots.

Thursday-I can’t think of any plans today other than the farmer’s market.

Friday-S doesn’t have school today. I think we are just going to be hanging out at home. We might go to Chuckie Cheese because we owe S a trip.

Saturday-The Harrison Day Rally Parade is in the morning and S has soccer in the afternoon.

Sunday-B has Bug fest and I think he is taking S with him. Looks like it will just be me and P at home.

Last Week Recap

I tried so hard to get that Shutterfly book finished by Wednesday night and failed. Happily I got an email saying they extended the free book till Thursday night. Of course, P wouldn’t go to bed easily so I got a really late start on it. At 1 am I called it a night and did not finish it. I have another code that expires September 30th and really hope I can finish by then.

Monday we started out with taking S to school. He is having a blast and I gotta say we are enjoying the few hours a few days a week we get with him being in school. Tuesday we hung out at home and Wednesday S had school again. While he was in school P and I walked around the historic district working on the historical scavenger hunt. Wednesday was my birthday so I went to my mom’s in the evening to celebrate with my twin, and went home to have dinner and cake with B, P, and S.

Thursday we had S’s pictures done at JCPenney’s and they turned out great. We even had P in a few of them. After his pictures we promised S that we would walk across this metal walking bridge that he has been asking to do for months. So we did that and then walked a few trails in a metropark connected to the bridge trail. When we got home I dropped B and S off and P and I went to Target. We actually found quite a few things. Let’s just say S is stocked up on art paper. S had practice that night and we finished the night off with the farmer’s market and he gotten some frozen yogurt.

Friday I took S to school and then hung out at my mom’s for a few hours. P and I went for a walk and picked S up after school. We hung out at home the rest of the day.

Saturday S had soccer pictures and his first soccer game. I thought it would be funny to watch and was excited for the game. Sadly, the other team was way better and quite aggressive. They were seriously some mean little kids pushing all of ours over. They would just run to them and body check them. The other coach never said anything and almost encouraged them. Sawyer finally got hurt the third time he was pushed over and refused to go back into the game. We stopped at Lowe’s for a build on the way home and then hung out at home for the rest of the day.

Sunday was a relax day. We basically just hung out at home watching a few movies, and playing games. P slept until 2 pm when I finally woke her up for the day. She really does sleep a ton because she was back asleep by 3pm. S and I colored, and played games until it was time to get ready for bed.

Last Week

My Weekly Goals: I need to finish a Shutterfly book I have been working on for S. There is a code for a free book good until Wednesday night.

Monday-S has school in the morning and then we are going to my mom’s so S can play with F in the afternoon. He has been telling me he can’t remember what F looks like because he hasn’t seen her in so long. It’s only been two weeks.

Tuesday-I think B and I are going to try and harvest the tomatoes out of the garden. They’re getting a little out of hand. Unfortunately, our raspberry plants got infected again with Spotted Wing Drosophila flies. It’s totally gross they lay their eggs in fresh raspberries so there are worms in them. I’m not going to post a picture because it really is gross, but there is one under the Gardening tab or you can click here.

Wednesday-S has school in the morning, today is my birthday, and B is off. Not sure if anything else is going to happen today. I think we are just hanging out at home. S and I will have to make a cake for sure.

Thursday-The farmer’s market is today, and S has soccer practice in the evening.

Friday-S has school in the morning, and the rest of the day we are hanging out at home. While S is in school I think my mom and I are going to try and do some of the architectural scavenger hunt the historical society does.

Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s, and I think the rest of the day we are hanging out at home.

Sunday-No plans as of yet.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
