Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try and hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

My Weekly Goals: Get my Target clearance finds posted, get out S’s 4 ½ pictures, and get kids photobooks updated.

Monday-I think we are just going to spend the day at home. Hopefully I can get caught up on a few things and S can play outside in his sandbox.

Tuesday-I question whether the Target summer clearance will go 90% today, so we may make a run to Target, but other than that I don’t really have any plans.

Wednesday-S has his tee ball game first thing in the morning; I will run to Target afterward if the summer clearance at Target did not go 90% yesterday. S has storytime and I am not sure if he will go this week. P has her two month doctor appointment and I need to get her two month pictures done today. I may do it tomorrow because she is getting shots and I really don’t want her cranky for her pictures.

Thursday-We may get P’s two month pics done today and we have the farmer’s market in the afternoon.

Friday-B is working during the day so I will take S to his soccer clinic by myself. After B gets off work we are going to my aunts for a get together. P will be meeting most of the family for the first time.

Saturday-There are not any plans for today, so I guess we will be hanging out around the house.

Sunday-Another day that we have no plans so we will be hanging out at home.

Last Week Recap

I didn’t get too many of my goals or really any of my goals accomplished this past week. I did get the reviews done on the Smiley 360° website but not on the blog. As far as everything else I did not get any of it done.

Most of the week we hung out at home. B was working on S’s playground and sandbox. S spent most of the week in his sandbox.

Wednesday we went to S’s tee ball game in the morning and then S refused to go to storytime. He just wanted to stay home and play in his sandbox. Thursday S went to his clay class and loved it. He was talking about painting his dogs and dog bowl. In the afternoon, we went to the farmer’s market and were able to get some produce to make baby food for P. Friday we went to S’s soccer clinic. Believe it or not we all slept in till after 10 am and had to run around to get to soccer by 11 am. S went swimming with his cousins who taught him some new tricks in the pool. S can now do a belly smacker and side smacker. Saturday we went to the build at Lowe’s and then to Grandma’s to swim. P got to hang out with her much older cousin while S swam in the pool. P was her normal self and slept the entire time. S went to a car show with B and P and I went shopping to another Target. Sunday I convinced S to go to two Targets, he got to swim at my mom’s again, and we spent the rest of the day playing outside.

My Weekly Goals: This week I would like to get those Smiley 360° reviews done, make and decorate the fire truck cake, get both kids’ photobooks updated, and get out S’s 4 ½ year old pics.

Monday-Not much going on today so I plan on staying home and trying to get some stuff done.

Tuesday-I have a dentist appointment in the afternoon. Other than that I think we are just going to hang out at home.

Wednesday-S has his tee ball game first thing in the morning, and then we have storytime. The rest of the day we have no other plans. Just how I like it.

Thursday-S has clay class again and then the Farmer’s Market in the afternoon.

Friday-S has his soccer clinic and then B is going to head off to work.

Saturday-S has his build in the morning at Lowe’s. S is going to be so excited to build a Turbo snail that will actually move. The rest of the day we have no plans.

Sunday-No plans for today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
