Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try and hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
My Weekly Goals: I recently activated my Smiley 360° account and have gotten three boxes from them that I need to review. We picked cherries on Saturday and I need to use them before they go bad. I want to make a pie and some baby food for P.
Monday-S is going to a clay class in the morning at our neighbors. He is so excited. The rest of the day I think we are going to hang out inside because it is going to be hot out. Too hot to take P out so S can swim. When B gets home from work S can swim.
Tuesday-It looks like another day of hanging out inside. It is going to be in the 90s again.
Wednesday-S has tee ball in the morning, and then storytime. I am debating whether we will go to a Mud Hens baseball game at night. S wanted to go a while back. When I asked him on Sunday he wasn’t so sure.
Thursday-Tonight is the first night of fireworks we are going to see. I am so excited to take S. He loves them, and hopefully P will sleep right through them.
Friday-We are going to a neighboring city to watch another display of fireworks. I think during the day we are just going to hang out at home, maybe go over to my mom’s to swim depending on the weather.
Saturday-S has a build at Home Depot in the morning, and then we are going to a parade, and then car and tractor show. I am not too excited about the cars and tractors, but B and S will really enjoy it. Tonight is our last night of going to see fireworks. They are in another neighboring city that is having the parade and car show in the morning.
Sunday-I think we will just be hanging out at home.
Last Week Recap
Since I am posting this on Tuesday, I am just going to do a quick recap of Last Week. I was able to accomplish all the weekly goals I set. The June ipsy review is done, I got some PINCHme reviews done, and we finished the Bert & Ernie cake for the library contest.
Monday and Tuesday we hung out at home. Wednesday S had his first tee ball game and he loved it. It took some convincing to get him to go to storytime after that. He finally got his much needed haircut.
Thursday was a big day around here. S learned how to ride a two-wheeler! He got it first try. I didn’t get any pictures since I was busy running next to him while he was pedaling. I did get some good videos to send to B while he was at work. P hung out in her stroller while S rode his bike.
Friday S went to the doctors for his cough. Since he had croup two weeks ago and then developed this cough, I was worried it might turn into bronchitis or walking pneumonia. The doctor prescribed him breathing treatments to help alleviate the cough. What a bummer. Will he ever get over this cold? Then we went to his soccer clinic and he did great.
Saturday we picked cherries at B’s aunts. I wanted to make sour cherry baby food for P and B wanted a cherry pie. The rest of the day we hung out at home. S and B worked outside on his swingset/playground.
Sunday we hung out at home. S stayed inside with me most of the day because it was so hot outside. Later in the evening we went outside so S could swim and play outside.
Last Week
My Weekly Goals: I have to get my June ipsy review done. I would like to get a few more reviews I have. S and I are going to finish decorating or Bert & Ernie cake for the contest.
Monday-B is off and we are just hanging out at home. I am hoping B can get my baby blocks done so I can get P’s one month picture before she is two months old.
Tuesday-I have a doctor appointment in the morning and then we are hanging out at home until B has to go to work.
Wednesday-S has his first tee ball game in the morning. He is so excited and I am too. B is going to get up after only a few hours of sleep so he doesn’t miss it. You never know with S and he could love it or hate it and never want to go back. Storytime is in the early afternoon.
Thursday-The only thing so far planned is possibly going to the farmer’s market when B gets home from work.
Friday-S has his soccer class and he is so excited to go again. Other than that we are just hanging out at home.
Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s and the rest of the day we are just going to be home.
Sunday-As of now no real plans, just working on S’s playset.
