Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try and hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

My Weekly Goals: My goals for this week are to get S’s 4 ½ year update posted along with P’s one month update posted. I also would like to try and get two ipsy reviews done. I still have May’s to do and my June ipsy came last week.

Monday-Piper is one month old today and we are getting her one month pictures today. After the pictures B will head off to work.

Tuesday-Piper has her one month doctor appointment today and I am excited to see how much she actually weighs. I think it is around 8 lbs, but others think it will be over 9 lbs.

Wednesday-We are going to try and make it to S’s storytime this week. Last week he didn’t go because he had croup and a nasty cold I did not want to spread to other kids.

Thursday-As of right now we do not have any plans. We will go to the farmer’s market in the afternoon if it is not too hot. I am hoping to get some more fresh strawberries to eat!

Friday-Sawyer has his first soccer class today. He is going to be learning soccer basics once a week for 6 weeks. He is so excited to start and has been practicing kicking the ball daily.

Saturday-It looks like it is going to be a quiet weekend for us. B is working days so as of now we have no plans.

Sunday-We are just going to be lounging around the house playing.

Last Week

Just a quick recap of last week because I am tired and since P is sleeping I want to take advantage of it. Monday S woke up with a cold. Man I hate when he gets a cold because he is so susceptible to croup. Don’t you know Tuesday night he woke up in the middle of the night having a hard time breathing. I was able to calm him down and gave him some steroids I had left over from his last case of croup. B stayed up with him and I went to sleep because someone had to get up with P and no way could I stay up all night and then take care of her all day. Wednesday we skipped storytime because I did not want to get any of the other kids sick with S’s cold. I was able to get a doctor appointment for S in the afternoon for his croup.

Thursday S had his 4 ½ year pictures which went great. We drove around some garage sales and found S a new swing. Then we went to the farmer’s market and got 12 quarts of strawberries. Friday B had to go back to work so we hung out at home all day. After B left for work we went to the fabric store and got some cute chevron fabric to make another sling for P that was calmer and would look okay to use at the wedding and reception on Saturday.

12 Quarts of Strawberries!

12 Quarts of Strawberries!

Saturday we went to B’s cousins wedding and later P and I went to the reception. When I got home from the reception we made B’s father’s day gift. Sunday we decorated the dog cake finally and S wanted to give it to B for father’s day. Believe it or not P slept all day on Sunday no joke. She slept in bed cuddling with me all morning, then in the Boppie, later in her rock ‘n’ play, her stroller and finally her rock ‘n’ play for the night. I think she was up for maybe an hour total for the entire day. Thankfully I did not have to hold her all day so she would sleep. Maybe we are making progress.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
