Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. It doesn’t look like it is going to be a busy week for S and me. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-I ordered some clothes from OldNavy.com. The sweaters were supposed to be white, but were Sea Salt which happens to be a cream color. I need to return them and see if I can find a white sweater to go with a dress I bought for Easter. If I can convince S to go we will run to Old Navy and then maybe Babies R Us which is next door.
Tuesday-If we didn’t get to Old Navy yesterday we are going to go today. Otherwise, we are just going to be hanging out at home.
Wednesday-This week is our break between storytime sessions, so we are just going to hang out at home.
Thursday-Same as yesterday, this week is our break from zoo school, so we are just going to hang out at home.
Friday-Technically our wedding anniversary is February 29th, so I guess if we were going to celebrate our anniversary it would be tonight. I cannot believe it has been 10 years of marriage already.
Saturday-I have to do my glucose test this morning, which I am not looking forward too. If it goes okay I am going to go to B’s cousins wedding shower. When I did the glucose test with S I felt pretty nauseous afterward and was down for the count. It just depends on how I do. I did get a new shirt for the shower, so it will be a wait and see game. B is going to take S to Home Depot for the kids build. S is going to build a Trojan Horse bank. I am not sure how much either one of them are going to like the finished product.
Sunday-Today we have no plans so it may be another day of hanging out at home.
Last Week Recap
Sunday we frosted our V-day cookies, and organized the sprinkles.
Monday and Tuesday we just hung out at home. Wednesday I got up early and went to Target. When I got home S and I went to Storytime, and when we got home we played out in the snow.
Thursday I went to another two Targets while B took S to zoo school in the rain. B was pretty wet when they got home, but S was nice a dry because he had on his raincoat, rainboots and umbrella. The rest of the day we just hung out at home.
Saturday S and I went to Lowe’s and made his little crane machine. S and I went up to the Ice Festival uptown to look at all the ice sculptures. S was more impressed with the artist who was painting the snow. The ice carving was just okay to him. Later B took S outside to play, and S just rode his trike all over the driveway. I guess he is over the snow at this point.
Sunday when B got up we drove down the Maumee River to check out all the flooding and ice damming. It was crazy to see how big some of that ice was. The rest of the day we just hung out at home.
Last Week
Monday-We do not have any plans for today. We are supposed to get more SNOW! If it is not too cold out, I may take S outside to burn some of that energy.
Tuesday-If Target Valentine’s day stuff goes 70%, I may have to make a run to see if I can find any Legos, Barbie’s, etc.
Wednesday-S is having a make-up storytime at the library because it was cancelled a few weeks ago due to the weather.
Thursday-S has zoo school in the morning. B is taking him, so I may make a run to Target while they are gone for my weekly trip.
Friday-As of now we have no plans, but who knows.
Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s and is going to make a claw machine. He is going to love this.
Sunday-No plans for today, but hanging out at home.
