Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. It doesn’t look like it is going to be a busy week for S and me. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-S and I are just hanging out at home today. We do not have any plans to do anything. I think it is going to be too cold to go outside, but we will wait and see.
Tuesday-It is going to be frigid out and if school is cancelled we are going to head over to my mom’s so S can play with F. They talked on the phone Sunday and both said how much they missed each other. When I told S we could see F on Tuesday he told F to make sure she was still really excited to see him. It was so cute. If S has school we will try to go over later after F is out of school.
Wednesday-S has preschool storytime this morning and then we are just hanging out at home the rest of the day. It is still supposed to be pretty cold.
Thursday-Since B is working, I am taking S to zoo school. S loves zoo school and B already checked it out and there will not be any snakes this week. Woohoo!
Friday-I am going for another ultrasound today and then we are planning on picking up our new bedroom furniture.
Saturday-B is off and plans on working on S’s bed and furniture. I am hoping he puts our new bedroom set together so I can rearrange furniture and clothes.
Sunday-I think we are just going to hang out at home while B works on S’s furniture.
Last Week Recap
Monday we hung out at home and did not do a whole lot. Tuesday was much of the same just hanging out at home. Wednesday we got so much snow (11”) that we decided not to take S to preschool storytime. B and I went to the Zac Brown Band concert at night and had a great time.
Thursday B and S went to zoo school and went to see the butterflys again. I was able to go to Target for a mini-trip. Later that day we went and saw Aaron Lewis in concert. S got to go play with his cousins and was sleeping on the couch with them when we picked him up.
Friday I went to my doctors for a regular maternity check-up and then we spent the rest of the day at home.
Saturday B took S to Lowe’s for a build and then later I took S for a drive to try and get him to take a nap. It was unsuccessful and he did not want that nap. S played with trains and cars for the rest of the day.
Sunday we hung out at home, and B took S outside to play in the snow while he shoveled the driveway (we got another 4″). S just played the rest of the day. Since he got up really really early, he also went to bed early. Thank goodness!
Last Week
Monday-I have to get up first thing this morning and turn in the paperwork to secure S’s spot for school next year. Yesterday when we went to open house the class was already full so we were put on a waiting list and I got a call a few hours later that a spot opened up and I do not want to miss out. B is off and I think the rest of the day we are just hanging out at home. B wants to start building a bed for S.
Tuesday-As of right now we have no plans.
Wednesday-S has storytime this morning at the library and then B and I are going to see the Zac Brown Band in the evening.
Thursday-S has zoo school in the morning, which B will take him too. Believe it or not we are going to another concert tonight up in Detroit at the MotorCity for Aaron Lewis. We saw him last spring in Cleveland and he was great.
Friday-I have a regular doctor appointment (check-up) in the morning and for the rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.
Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s this morning making a Valentine box. The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.
Sunday-No plans as of right now, but since B is off that will likely change.
