Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans.  This week looks to be a quiet week that is so we can save all of our energy for next week when it is S’s birthday!  I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-Not a whole lot planned for this week.  I think we are just going to hang out at home.

Tuesday-We don’t have any plans, but it supposed to be in the 50’s so we will play outside or maybe even head to the park.  Not sure how many days in December will be warm enough to play outside.  Maybe we will try to hit the Lights Before Christmas at night.

Wednesday-S has storytime in the morning and then S has his dentist appointment for his bi-annual cleaning.  He goes to the same pediatric dentist that I did until I was 18.  The funny thing is the same dentist and hygienists are still there.  That should tell you how young the dentist and hygienist were went I started going to that dentist office.

Thursday-No plans for today, just hanging out at home.

Friday-Same as yesterday, no plans for today.

Saturday-I am going to try to find some holiday stuff to do with S since B will be working.

Sunday-Again, B is working so I am going to try to find something holidayish for me and S to do.

Last Week Recap

Monday we hung out at home.  I was able to convince B to go to Kohl’s with me when he got home so the three of us went to Kohl’s.  Don’t you know that when you have coupons for free money to spend you can never find anything.  I was eventually able to find a pair of jammies and some Playdoh accessories for S’s stocking.

Tuesday we hung out at home all day and then on Wednesday we went over to B’s aunts for Thanksgiving dinner.  S had so much fun playing with his cousins.  He was so excited he couldn’t even sit down and eat dinner.  I happily sat down and ate enough for the both of us.  Then we had to go through ads with B’s aunt to see who was going to get what at what store.

Thursday was of course Thanksgiving Day.  We had fun hanging out at my mom’s.  We had a little drama with my brother’s dog getting hit by a car.  Thankfully, Kato is going to be okay and we then had dinner.  B decided to go shopping at Wal-Mart and spent crazy amounts of money.  S and I fell asleep on the couches from exhaustion.

Friday we hung out and then ran a few errands so S could fall asleep in the car.  Thankfully, he fell asleep and took a nap which was much needed.  B went to work and S and I hung out.

Saturday we played in our jammies until B woke up.  We basically hung out all day at home and then S and I went to the Lights Christmas Parade in a neighboring town.  I was lucky enough to find a spot where we could sit in our warm car and see the entire parade.  S loved it and went crazy at the end when he saw Santa.  He was banging on the windshield waving like crazy trying to get Santa’s attention.  S fell asleep on the way home from the parade about 7ish and slept all night long.

Sunday I worked on getting caught up on some posts and then we went to a Christmas parade uptown.  B had to go to work so S and I did quite a few Christmas crafts from our Carefree Crafts.

Last Week

Monday-Today we have some errands to run.  I need to go to Kohl’s and use some Kohl’s cash and coupons before they expire.  I also think we are going to make a trip to Target if S will go along with it.  Then later we are going over to my mom’s so S can play with F (S’s cousin).  They played together for hours on Saturday and when it was time for F to leave S was just crying and crying.  So we had to schedule another play date for today.

Tuesday-Not much going on today.  We are planning on running to Toys R Us tonight so that S can walk around and check out toys.  He circled some toys in ads, but is not sure about them so we are going to walk around Toys R Us so he can inspect toys.  He loves doing this and it really does help him decide on toys he likes and doesn’t.

Wednesday-We have storytime in the morning and then depending on what we are making for Thanksgiving, we could be baking all afternoon, or just hanging out finalizing shopping lists for shopping this weekend. (Yes, we go with type’s lists and what time the items go on sale.

Thursday-Happy Thanksgiving!! We are going to my parents for good eats and then who knows if we will go shopping.  It always seems to be up in the air until the last minute.

Friday-B may go out in the morning and brave the crowds for those few items that we don’t really need but would like.

Saturday-S and I will be going to Home Depot for a build.  We will be building a tool box and battling the crowds.

Sunday-So far the only thing planned for today is to recover from the extended weekend.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
