Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. This week so far looks like it is going to be a very slow week. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-It looks like a quiet day at home waiting for B to wake up. Then S will get to spend a few hours with S before he has to go to work.
Tuesday-Today we have Baby A and it looks like we will just be hanging around the house.
Wednesday-S has storytime at the library today. I am not sure if Baby A and I will take him or if B will take him. It all depends on S’s attitude about going. He still asks if that boy that bit him is going to be there. If he is hesitant then B will take him and sit in the classroom if necessary. If not, Baby A and I will take him.
Thursday-Today is Target day. Since B is home I will either go with Baby A and S will stay home or go after Baby A goes home. B got a whole bushel of apples last week at the farmer’s market, so this week we only need apple cider and to return the wooden crate to Haslinger’s Orchard (where we get our fruit from). I totally forgot, S starts zoo school today. We signed him up for a 3-week class that is supposed to teach S about animals. This particular month they are focusing on dispelling animal myths and having kids not be afraid of animals. I am guessing they are going to do snakes, spiders and something else. Lord help me, I am not the one who has to take S if they do a snake week.
Friday-I have a few errands to run today. Hopefully, S will be game to run errands with me. Other than that, we will just be hanging out at home.
Saturday-S and I will be getting up and going to Lowe’s for S’s build. He is making a Spooky Stacker. The rest of the day looks like we will be at home waiting for B to come home from work.
Sunday-B is working so S and I will probably just stay home and veg out most of the day.
Last Week Recap
Last week ended up not being a very busy week, which is nice sometimes. Monday I thought I had a doctor’s appointment (I didn’t remember scheduling it.) because I got a reminder call on Saturday. When I called the doc’s office they said it was a computer glitch and I did not have an appointment. I was glad I had not forgotten a doc appointment, but bummed not to have some alone time. Tuesday we watched Baby A and just hung out around the house. Wednesday we went to storytime where S got bit by another kid, and we went home early. We didn’t do much the rest of the day. F (S’s cousin) came over to play with S in the evening. They both had a great time.
Thursday we hung out at home most of the day and then I went to Target by myself. Got some great finds. B ran up to the farmer’s market and got us a bushel of Jonagold apples and some apple cider. Friday we hung out at home. Saturday S and I went to Home Depot and did his Fire Rescue Plane build. It was raining the rest of the day so we just hung out in the house. It cleared up a little in the evening and we ventured out for about an hour. S wanted to ride a Super Trike he saw on Paw Patrols. We just happen to have a Super Trike and he was floored that we already had one and he didn’t know it. He loved riding around on that trike outside. He was showing me how it could go through the grass and everything.
Sunday was our veg day and we just played inside in our jammies until around noon. It was raining outside so there was no rush to go outside and play.
Last Week
Monday-I have some appointments today so I will be going by myself while S stays home with B. Ahh, some alone time! The rest of the day we are just hanging out, or maybe tackle another room to clean.
Tuesday-Today we have Baby A, and it looks like it is going to be a nice day to play outside.
Wednesday-Baby A and I will take S to his storytime. The rest of the day we will just hang out at home.
Thursday-I think I am going to venture out again and try to take Baby A and S to Target. I am curious to know if last week was a fluke or if this is how it could be every week. We are going to go to the farmer’s market for some Jonagold apples and apple cider.
Friday-So far no plans, I am sure something will come up.
Saturday-Since this is the first Saturday of the month, S and I will be going to Home Depot for a build. We are building a fire rescue plane and it says that we will also get a buildable mini Lego City Toy. The rest of the day we will be hanging out at home with B until he leaves for work.
Sunday-S and I will hang out and wait for B to wake up. We’ll spend a few hours with B before he leaves for work and then it is just S and me again.
