Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-P has school in the morning. After school S has soccer practice. It is supposed to rain so I don’t know if he will actually have practice.
Tuesday-Not much going on during the day. P is going to go to storytime with Baby L and May. She is so excited to go again, but is not happy about having to sit in the back because she is too old for the storytime group. S has catechism and piano lessons after school.
Wednesday-P has school in the morning. She has school pictures and I cannot wait to see how they turn out. The rest of the day we are just going to be hanging out at home.
Thursday-We are just going to be hanging out at home. S is excited that he doesn’t have anything going on after school.
Friday-P has school in the morning. I am going to try to go to an estate sale in Toledo. The house is 12,000 sq. ft. I really just want to see how big the house is and what it looks like on the inside.
Saturday-The kids have soccer in the morning. P gets to bring snack and is excited to go to the store and pick it out.
Sunday-Just hanging out at home. I’m sure something will happen.
Last Week Recap
Monday P had school in the morning. B took S to soccer practice in the evening while I stayed home with P.
Tuesday P and I hung out at the neighbor’s. I watched Little B while she went to storytime with Baby L and May. She loved it and I loved the cuddle time I got with the baby. S had catechism after school and then went straight to piano lessons. While S was at catechism P and I went to Target. We got some school supplies and P got a Rapunzel figurine set. While S was at piano lessons P and I went and got pizza.
Wednesday P had school in the morning. It was such a nice day that the kids got to play outside after school.
Thursday it was gorgeous outside. The kids got to swim in the pool after school. I wanted them to take advantage of the warm weather in case we didn’t get any more this year.
Friday P had school in the morning. It was another beautiful day. May and I binge watched the entire first season of Sinners on Netflix. It was a really good show. After school we had the neighbors over for swimming and dinner. This really was the last warm day to get a chance to swim. We are leaving the pool open for a few more weeks in case we get some crazy warm days. If not we will close it.
Saturday I took P to princess storytime and she got to see Tink again and Peter Pan. She did not care for Peter Pan but liked Tink. When we got home it was time to get ready for soccer. Both kids had a game at noon. P keeps saying she does not like playing and will not score a goal. S tries his best but did not score a goal. When soccer was over it was another race of us running home to get ready for my cousins wedding. The kids did great at the wedding and loved the reception. P was a dancing fool. She was out there dancing till 9:30pm when she told me she was done and wanted to go home. She learned a new dance. She watched everyone else do the dance and then went out on the floor and did it with them. I did not go out with her and was super impressed that she could do it all on her own. That girl has got rhythm and can find the beat.
Sunday we hung out at home in the morning. B and S went to a 4-H informational meeting in the afternoon, worked outside when they got home and went to Grandpa Bob’s. S got to build and burn a fire. I took P to play at May’s parents. She loved hanging out there and did not want to come home. When we got home we ate dinner and then P had a 45 minute breakdown because she couldn’t have any more candy. She gets 1 piece a day and that is it. She is pushing to get more daily and most of the time I stick with the one piece. There are those times when she will get me when I am weak and get another piece.
Last Week
Monday-P has school in the morning. S has soccer practice after school and then homework.
Tuesday-I am watching Little A in the afternoon. S has catechism and piano after school. P and I are going to run some errands while he is at catechism.
Wednesday-P has school in the morning and just hanging out at home the rest of the day.
Thursday-We have no plans so we are hanging out at home.
Friday-P has school. Not much else going on the rest of the day.
Saturday-S and P have soccer in the morning. We have a wedding in the late afternoon and reception afterward.
Sunday-No plans just hanging out at home.
