Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Monday-We have swim and diving.  The rest of the day we are hanging out at home.  It is going to be nice outside so hopefully the kiddos can play outside.

Tuesday-We have swim and diving.  The rest of the day is another day of hanging out at home.

Wednesday-P has tee ball in the morning.  She only has this week and next week and tee ball is over.  She is going to miss it.  We have swim and diving.  In the evening we are going to a family cookout.  The kids will have fun playing with all of their cousins.

Thursday-We have swim and diving.  The farmer’s market is in the afternoon.  Otherwise we are packing for the family reunion and hanging out at home.

Friday-P has soccer in the afternoon.  Afterward we are heading south to go to B’s family reunion.  It will be more time for the kids to hang out and play with their cousins.

Saturday-We have a full day of family reunion.  The kids will have a blast and we will head home in the evening.

Sunday-It is going to be a day of recovery.  PJ will have anxiety when we see her again, Dinky who knows, and the kids will be tired.

Last Week Recap

Monday we had swim and diving.  After diving S & P’s cousin came home with us to spend the afternoon playing with S.  They had fun together and I didn’t even notice he was here.  B dropped him off at home on his way to work.  Before dinner we went swimming and S had a friend come down and swim with him.  We had a lot of fun swimming.

Tuesday we did not have swim or diving.  We spent the morning hanging out at home.  In the afternoon, we had S’s friend come over again to swim.  We ended up having dinner with them.  P had a meltdown but was in a much better mood after she ate.  We have figured out that she gets super whiny and cranky when she gets hungry (just like her dad!).

Wednesday P had tee ball and she had quite the fan club in the stands.  She hit the ball well, and then also managed to field a ball.  Of course the ball was hit in the outfield and not one kid noticed that it was hit so I yelled for P to get the ball and she ran out there by herself.  She was so proud of herself.  She did a couple extra hops and skips on her way back in field.  We had swim and diving after tee ball.  B took them because I was watching Baby L.  In the afternoon S had piano lessons and then his friend came over to swim for a few hours.

Thursday we had diving and swim.  P refused to get in the water because she said the water was too cold.  That is what a warm pool and cool weather will do to you.  She has been spoiled because the hot weather heated our pool and now the city pool was cooling off because of the cool nights.  Since she refused to get in the water we ended up leaving early.  I drove her around in the car hoping she would take a nap.  An hour later and over 40 miles she did not fall asleep but was in a better mood.  I ran to Target by myself for some alone time.  I wanted to check out the summer clearance.  It is a weird year for the summer markdowns.  This is the first time they are not getting marked down like they have in the past.  They marked some stuff down with clearance stickers and other stuff is still full price.  It is a wait and see game.  B took the kids to the farmer’s market after dinner and I stayed home to read a book in my hammock swing.  I ended up falling asleep for the hour they were gone.

Friday we had a make-up day of swim. So P went to soccer and S went to diving.  It rained most of the time during P’s soccer and S’s diving.  After soccer P ran to her swim class.  She was much better today and got in the water and actually swam.  The rest of the day we hung out at home.  It rained off and on all day.

Saturday S and I took P to see Moana at the library story time.  She was so excited to see her and thankfully Moana showed up (Snow White did not last week.).  When we got home the kids worked hard for hours searching for bugs.  They had to feed the 4 toads B brought home yesterday.

Sunday we hung out at home.  The kids spent the day hunting for bugs for the toad that B brought home on Friday.  When B got home he surprised the kids and brought 7 more toads home.  OMG! What are we going to do with 11 toads?

Last Week

Monday-The kids have swim and diving today.  Afterward S’s cousin is coming home with us to play for the afternoon.  The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.

Tuesday-There is no swim or diving today because there is a swim meet.  I am watching my niece in the afternoon, but otherwise we are just hanging out at home.

Wednesday-It is going to be a confusing day of running around for B and me.  I am watching my neighbor’s kids in the morning.  P has tee ball, so B is taking her and I am taking the other kids with me.  After tee ball we are all heading home to get the kiddos ready for swim and diving.  B is taking the kids to swim and diving and I am staying home with the youngest one.  B is then taking S to piano lessons after lunch and then he is picking up S’s friend to come over and play for a while.  Whew! That was a mouthful.

Thursday-We have swim and diving.  The farmer’s market is in the afternoon.  The rest of the day we are at home.

Friday-P has soccer clinic, and then make-up swim and diving class.  My niece is celebrating her birthday at Perrysburger’s and then Sportway for go-karts, miniature golf, and batting cages.  I haven’t told the kiddos yet because I will hear none stop about it until then.

Saturday-Princess story time is in the morning.  P is ecstatic to see Moana.  It is supposed to rain so we don’t have any plans for the rest of the day.

Sunday-B is working and I think we are going to try and go do something if it doesn’t rain.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
