Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
Monday-Seeing as how it is a holiday for some, we may be barbecuing outside with someone or by ourselves. Either way I am eating off the grill for dinner!
Tuesday-I plan on going to the zoo today or tomorrow. The weather looks like it is going to be nice and S has not been in quite a while.
Wednesday-If we didn’t go to the zoo yesterday, than we are going today and taking Baby A with us. So glad I have a sit ‘n’ stand stroller! If not we are just hanging around the house and playing outside.
Thursday-Another nice day of weather predicted so we will be outside most of the day and then make a trip to the farmer’s market in the afternoon. I will hopefully make a trip to Target at some point because today is Target Day!!!! Costco coupons start today and I need a few things that will be on sale so we could make a trip there.
Friday-Not sure of anything planned, just spending the day at home playing outside.
Saturday-No plans as of yet, but I am sure something will come up!
Sunday-Again, no plans as of yet, but something will happen, it always does!
Last Week Recap
Monday we were going to go over to my dad’s for his birthday but it got pushed back to Tuesday so we just hung out at home. S got to play with F and they had so much fun together. Tuesday we watched Baby A for the first time and had a great time. After Baby A went home we went over to my parents and had a cook out to celebrate my dad’s birthday.

Wednesday was B’s birthday so we baked a cake during the day while watching Baby A. It took us a while to get the cake made a frosted. We had to take breaks and take care of Baby A, but we got it done before B came home. S had fun singing to B and eating cake.

Thursday we watch Baby A again, and S definitely wanted some cuddle time after Baby A left. He did not want to go to the farmer’s market so we went swimming over at my mom’s. S was so happy to get a little swim time with F.
Friday S and I went over to my parents and went swimming in the morning. The rest of the day we just hung out at home.

Saturday we went to my Uncle F and Aunt D for a Labor Day get together. S had so much fun playing there and let me tell you he woke up at 7:30 am asking when we were going to leave for Uncle F’s. S got to go swimming, play in the sand, do a little fishing and his favorite was driving his truck all over. When we got home I cooked down tomatoes and froze more for smoothies.

Sunday B let me sleep in and then we took the boat out on the Maumee River and out to Lake Erie. The green sludge that now is Lake Erie is disgusting. I have never seen anything like that before. S had so much fun on the boat and the lull of the boat bouncing put him to sleep. Of course, as soon as we got home he had to drive his truck around and did so until we came in and made raspberry pies with raspberries from our gardens.
