Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
We are going to get a taste of Spring this week so we will be playing outside as much as possible.
Weekly Goal
Monday-I am running to Target to check out all the 90% Valentine clearance. The rest of the day we are playing outside other than naptime. Since it is President’s Day S has no school and will be hanging out at home with us.
Tuesday-On the off chance that Valentine clearance did not go 90% yesterday at Target I will head out today. P has her playgroup in the morning. It is supposed to be raining all morning so I am happy we will be playing inside. Hopefully after naptime we will be able to play outside. S does not have catechism because of President’s Day.
Wednesday-Another nice day of playing outside.
Thursday-Wait for it…..we will be playing outside.
Friday-We will spend the day with B before he goes to work.
Saturday-We have my cousins little one’s b-day party before naptime and then we are hanging out at home.
Sunday-We will just be hanging out at home.
Last Week Recap
Monday I finished up all the cookies for S to give as Valentine’s. When S got home we worked on addressing the boxes for the cookies and then filling them.
Tuesday was Valentine’s Day so I made sure that S wore red to school and P wore hearts. P had her playgroup cancelled so we hung out at home all day. When S got home from school he was so excited to show me all of his Valentines. S had catechism in the evening.
Wednesday P took an early nap and then we went to Target to check out what was left of the Valentine clearance. Not too much left it looks like I will be digging quite a bit to find anything. While I was taking a shower in the morning P started playing dress up and got the skirt and necklace on all by herself!
Thursday we hung out at home.
Friday we went to see my aunt and uncle in the morning and then went to Ice Fest at Levis Commons in the evening. It was pretty nice outside for us but way too warm for the ice sculptors. We ran into Papa and walked around with him looking at all the sculptures.
Saturday we went to Ice Fest in the morning. The kids had a good time watching them try to carve ice when it was 50°+ outside. When we got home I let P play outside for a while before her nap. After her nap we played outside until it was time for dinner.
Sunday I was up bright and early waiting for Target to open there doors at 8am. I was really hoping Valentine clearance was going to go 90% but it didn’t. The rest of the day we spent as much time outside as we could playing. After dinner B wanted to run to Menard’s so P and I got dropped off at Target to check out the clearance at that store. It also was 70/50% so I walked the store to see what was left.
Last Week
Weekly Goal
Monday-It is going to be a pretty quiet day at home.
Tuesday-P had her play group in the morning and then S has catechism after school.
Wednesday-No plans for today.
Thursday-P and I may run to Target to check out the Valentine clearance and see what is left. Otherwise we will just be at home.
Friday-S is off school so we are going to visit with my aunt and uncle in the morning and then I have a hair appointment while P takes her nap. I am sure today is my hair appointment.
Saturday-No real plans it is going to be super nice out today and tomorrow so lots of outside playtime.
Sunday-No plans just trying to get outside and play.
