Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
It is going to be another quiet week around here. We have no plans. The only thing we cannot miss is P’s doctor appointment.
Weekly Goal-I really want to get all of S’s clothes that he has grown out of organized and put away.
Monday-We are just hanging out at home. It is going to be warm enough out that they can play outside after nap and school.
Tuesday-B goes back to work. S has catechism after school. P and I are just hanging out at home. I told S I would work on getting some Christmas decorations out while he was in school.
Wednesday-We have our weekly playdate in the morning. The rest of the day we are just going to be at home.
Thursday-No plans, just hanging out at home.
Friday-P has her 2 ½ year well-check in the morning. Afterward we are going to make a stop at Kohl’s and use the Kohl’s Cash that I have and do some returns. The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.
Saturday-The plan is to put the Christmas tree up and decorate it.
Sunday-No plans just hanging out at home.
Last Week Recap
Weekly goal I managed to complete. All of the Halloween decorations are put away and organized so we can get them out next year easily.
Monday P and I ran some errands and then went to a park to play. The weather was great so we rode bikes to the park. The rest of the day we hung out at home.
Tuesday we hung out at home. B took S to his catechism class.
Wednesday play group was cancelled due to some of the kids having colds. I agreed because I was battling a cold myself. Instead B and I took P and went shopping for holiday picture outfits.
Thursday we hung out at home during the day and then got family pictures after S got home from school. The pictures turned out okay. They are not the best pictures but okay. I just wasn’t happy with the girl who was taking our pictures.
Friday I had to take Dash to the vets because I thought she had a broken leg but she ended up having an abscess. They cleaned it up and she came home with me later that day. She is on antibiotics and confined to the house.
Saturday B took S and P with him to the dump in the morning and I got to sleep in a little. I tried to put P down for an early nap so we could go to a neighbor’s birthday party. It didn’t work and I finally got her down for a nap at 2pm. The party started at 3pm so we were not going to be able to make it. We spent the rest of the night hanging out at home.
Sunday B and S went to my aunt and uncles in the morning. P and I went out a little later. B was fixing a few things for them while S was hanging out. P and I went out so she could play with them too. I took the time to sit on the couch by myself and read. P and I left before naptime so I could get her home for a good nap before Baby L’s 1st birthday party. P missed the window on the way home and never went down for a nap. She stayed in her bed but I could hear her talking to herself the whole time. P and I went to Baby L’s party and B and S came a little later. Surprisingly she did great at the party and was very good.
Last Week
It is going to be a pretty low-key week for us. We don’t have anything planned or going on. It looks like just a quiet week at home.
This Week’s Goal-I want to get all of the Halloween decorations put away and the few Thanksgiving decorations back out.
Monday-It is going to be nice outside so with no plans I am hoping to get the kids to play outside after school.
Tuesday-S does not have school today. It is supposed to rain today so I think we will be hanging out inside. S has catechism in the evening.
Wednesday-P is supposed to have her playdate in the morning but with the cold I have and her cough I am not sure if we will go. B and I may try to sneak out and go shopping to find coordinating Christmas outfits to match what we already have for the kids. I would like to get the pictures done tomorrow.
Thursday-Another day of no plans. I would really like to get our Christmas pictures done after S gets home from school.
Friday-Another day of no plans. It really will be a quiet week around here (hopefully).
Saturday-There is a free Lego build at Toys R Us from 12-2. We got invited to a birthday party in the afternoon, and then just hanging out at home in the evening.
Sunday-We have Baby L‘s first birthday party in the afternoon. I am excited to see her dig into her cake!
