Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
My Weekly Goal-The only thing I am hoping for is to get caught up on my daily posts.
Monday-We have tee ball and swim. S’s cousin is heading home soon, so S will probably hang out and play with him in the afternoon.
Tuesday-My nephews are heading home tonight so we have swim in the morning and then are heading to my dad’s so all the kids can swim together.
Wednesday-We have swim in the morning and then are hanging out at home the rest of the day.
Thursday-S has tee ball and then swim. We will probably head home afterward and just hang out at home. It is going to be another hot day. Depending on the weather we may go to the farmer’s market in the evening when B gets home from work.
Friday-B is off. He has errands to run during the day. I will probably just hang out at home with the kids unless S runs the errands with B. If so then P and I will spend some time at home together.
Saturday-I have a baby shower in the afternoon; S has a birthday party, and at some point P will need her nap. I am going to ask B to take S to his party and depending on the weather and heat I may just stay home with P so she can get a good nap.
Sunday-B has to work and this may be the end of shutdown. (Fingers crossed) The rest of the day we are going to hang out at home.
Last Week Recap
It was a busy week and I was exhausted.
Monday we had tee ball and swim. Tuesday we had swim and then P and I made cookies while S was playing with his cousin.
Wednesday we went to swim and then played at home. S wanted me to go in the playroom with him while he played with his electric trains. Of course, P had to come with us. S did not want to hear P anymore so he went out into the garage and got his headphones. I guess that is one way to tune out your sister.
Thursday S had tee ball and swim. It was cloud covered day so it was a nice morning. When we got home from swim I took the kids for a bike ride to Three Meadows to feed the ducks. S loves to feed them and P could not get enough. She was amazed at how the ducks would come near her when she would throw bread in the pond. When we got home the sun busted out through the clouds and raised the temperature significantly. In the evening we ended up going to the farmer’s market to get peaches.
Friday B was off so S stayed home with him while I took P to her first dentist appointment. P and I ran to a Target before and another after her dentist appointment. She did great at her dentist appointment. In the evening, we went to my niece’s birthday party. She had a karate themed party. S loved it and P ran around having a ball.
Saturday I ran to Target in the morning as soon as they opened. When I got home we got ready and went to B’s family reunion for the day. The kids had a great time playing with all the other kids who were there. We did stop on the way at another Target in Sandusky. I did find a few items there at 70% off. Their store was so chaotic. Nothing was together and everything was all over the store.
Sunday we ran to a Target in the morning and then came home to give P an early nap. We went to B’s aunts 50th Jubilee celebration or being a nun for 50 years. The kids did great at church. It was a much longer mass than normal and P was great. The kids got to hang out at a small reception afterward and then we went home to hang out and recover.
Last Week
My Weekly Goal-This week I would like to get a few more things done around the house, maybe even get ahead on a few of my posts.
Monday-We have tee ball and then swim in the morning. We are going to try to stop by my sister’s to give my nieces their birthday presents. The rest of the day we are just hanging out at home.
Tuesday-We just have swim in the morning and no other plans for the day.
Wednesday-We have swim in the morning and S has waterworld in the afternoon if he decided he wants to go this week.
Thursday-There is tee ball and swim in the morning and possibly the farmer’s market in the evening.
Friday-P has her first dentist appointment in the morning and we have my niece’s birthday party in the evening. S is so excited because it is where my niece takes her karate classes.
Saturday-We have the Bihn reunion in Sandusky. We are only going for the day but plan on leaving early and getting home late. It will be a long day but the kids will have a ton of fun playing with
Sunday-We have B’s aunts 50th Jubilee for being a nun for 50 years.
