Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
My Weekly Goals-I would love to get P’s invitations out this week. I have them created and just need to print and assemble them.
Monday-We have no plans so we are going to hang out at home. I have to do the kids laundry and I am going to wash the next size for P. Although the 18-24 mos./24 mos. is still too big for her some of the 18 mos. is starting to get to small for her. I hate the transition period.
Tuesday-We still have no plans and are just hanging out at home. It looks like a day of folding laundry. As I am typing this I see 7 loads of clean clothes that need folded. I only got 2 done yesterday.
Wednesday-We are either going to try to go see my new niece today or tomorrow morning. When she was born S and P had just started a cold and have not been able to hold her yet. S is begging to hold her; P will do whatever S does. Otherwise we are just having another day at home.
Thursday-If we didn’t go yesterday, today we will go to my sister’s. We are just hanging out at home the rest of the day.
Friday-B is off and this is his last week off before his shutdown at work starts. He will be working 60 hours a week until the beginning of August. Hopefully the kids will absorb as much time as they can before they only get to see him for like an hour before they go to bed every night.
Saturday-We have no plans and are just going to be hanging out at home.
Sunday-Another day of hanging out at home.
Last Week Recap
Monday we hung out at home. I got S to do his homework for the week.
S and I ran to Target on Tuesday to see if there was any Easter clearance left. It had been salvaged that morning but there was a ton of stuff all over the store still. The Easter decorations finally got put away!
Wednesday was just a quiet day at home.
S has started with the “I can’t sleep” at night. Basically, it has always been like that. If he doesn’t fall asleep in the first 10 minutes he can’t do it. Even as a baby it was like that. I was working on P’s invitation so I told S he could lay on the couch like P did the week before. I wouldn’t let him watch the TV so he fell asleep within 5 minutes of him being on the couch. Thank goodness B was home to carry him to bed.
Friday we were surprised with a ton of snow. We hung out at home most of the day. B ran some errands and helped my aunt and uncle by checking out there new house to make sure he didn’t see anything wrong.
Saturday I went to a glass painting class, while B took both kids to a build at Lowe’s. After P’s nap we went to my aunt and uncles to hang out and have dinner. The kids love playing with them. I usually just sit back and am quiet. If P was okay and wouldn’t cry I would totally go upstairs and take a nap. P is not okay with us leaving her so she always will check on us to make sure we haven’t left.
Sunday B picked up overtime, while the kids and I hung out at home. S and I worked on cutting out hot air balloons from the Cricut for P’s invitations and party. I kept on going with the laundry that B started yesterday. So far we have four loads done, with more to come. I just need to fold all of it.
Last Week
Seriously, we have no plans for the entire week. S is headed back to school, B took the week off work, and we have nothing planned.
My Weekly Goals-I would like to work on P’s invitations for her party to get them out. It will be here before you know it.
Monday-B is off so we are hanging out at home. S goes back to school today and I am so excited. I would like to get all the Easter decorations down.
Tuesday-Another day of hanging out.
Wednesday-Again, another day of hanging out at home.
Thursday-Still another day of hanging out at home.
Friday-A quiet day at home.
Saturday-S has a build at Lowes to make a bird feeder. Otherwise we are hanging out at home.
Sunday-Just another day at home
