Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
My Weekly Goals-I don’t really have any goals for this week, maybe work on the basement some more which I abandoned a few weeks ago.
Monday-It is going to be a nice day outside around 60°. We will probably play outside. Otherwise we are just hanging around the house.
Tuesday-It is going to be almost 70° today so we are spending as much time as possible outside. When S gets off the bus I have a playdate set up with this “busfriend.” S, Baby A, and his friend are going to hang eggs off the trees outside to decorate for Easter.
Wednesday-Not a whole lot going on, just hanging around the house.
Thursday-B took tonight off because we are going to a Brad Paisley concert. The only time we ever go on a date just the two of us is to a concert! It has been almost a year since we have gone out. That was the last time I really let anyone watch P. My brother-in-law did for a few short spurts during soccer practice, but this is going to be hours. Hopefully she won’t cry for my sister.
Friday-Just another day at home.
Saturday-B is taking S for his Monster Truck build at Lowe’s in the morning. (The one I went to last week on accident!) In the evening, if everything went okay on Thursday my sister is going to watch the kids again so we can go to B’s Christmas party. Talk about being late, they had to reschedule it.
Sunday-We are just hanging out at home.
Last Week Recap
B had to work last Monday so we didn’t do anything for our anniversary. I did make B a black raspberry pie Monday night so he had it when he came home Tuesday morning.
Tuesday we went out to my aunt and uncles after S got off the bus. We went out just for a quick visit before the rain turned to snow.
Wednesday we hung out at home.
Thursday we ran some errands. We went to see the Hot Wheels Monster Truck and then to Costco. P was a stinker and refused to stay in the cart so she walked with me. When she was walking with me I stopped to look at DVDs and she growled at another little girl her size. The little girl cried and ran to hid behind her mom. That’s my P the little monster. You wonder why we call her that but she has been growling since before she was one. She even growls at her doctor at visits.
Friday we hung out at home. B was supposed to work over so we went and hung out at the neighbors. To my surprise he texted our neighbor to tell me he was home early. I left my phone at home because I didn’t see a reason to take it.
Saturday S, P, and I went to Lowe’s for a build, only to realize the build at Lowe’s was next week. Oops, then I remembered Home Depot had the build. We went and S made a cute little pull wagon. P wanted to bang with the hammer, but she is just a little too dangerous for me to let her use a hammer.
Sunday we hung out at home. S got to go over to his cousins to play. He was over there all afternoon. When B brought him home he was tuckered out. P hung out at home with me and then got to play with Grandma G and Grandpa Bob for a while.
Last Week
My Weekly Goals
Monday-Today is B and my anniversary. We have been married for 12 years, which is crazy.
Tuesday-B is going to sleep in the morning and then we are hanging out at home.
Wednesday-We are supposed to get snow on Tuesday night, but fingers crossed S will still have school.
Thursday-Monster Jam is in town and the Hot Wheels Monster Truck will be at Kroger so B is planning on taking S up there to check it out. You mix Hot Wheels and Monster Trucks and that is the perfect combo for S.
Friday-No plans for today. Just hanging out at home.
Saturday-Not a whole lot going on, there is a build at Home Depot. If S decides he wants to go we will, otherwise we are just hanging out at home.
Sunday-Not a whole lot happening.
