Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
- Monday-Disney store is starting their Disney Playtime which they hold daily from July 1-Sept 2. I am not sure what it entails, but S loves anything Disney. He even likes Cinderella to watch the mice. (So he says.)
- Tuesday-So far it looks like just a quiet day at home, which we may need to get ready for the rest of the week.
- Wednesday-We are going to see fireworks with Grandma, Papa, maybe F and Aunt D. S will be so excited if F is there to watch the fireworks with him.
- Thursday-Today is Target day, but there is no farmer’s market this week. Again we are going to more fireworks. This time it will only be B, S, and me.
- Friday-As of now we are going to try and go see my Aunt and Uncle. Sawyer loves to play with my Uncle (I think my Uncle has more fun than S does because he gets to act like a big kid.).
- Saturday-There is a festival all day followed by surprise, more fireworks. We may go and hang out with the neighbors all day. S would love to play with the boys all day.
- Sunday-B is off, so I am sure we will do something.
Last week recap
Monday we ended up hanging out at home, but we did end up taking the boat out to get it running; only we didn’t go until Tuesday after storytime. Wednesday we did end up swimming at grandmas with F, and S loved every minute of it. Thursday I made it to Target and then met up with B and S to go to the farmer’s market where we bought more strawberries to make another batch of strawberry puree for S’s smoothies. Friday we did not go back out on the boat, but went and picked sour cherries at B’s aunts. S had a blast playing with his cousins while we picked cherries. I had a long night of pitting, cooking, and pureeing the cherries for again S’s smoothies. Saturday we played all day and then ended up trying to go and see some fireworks only to sit for two hours in the car while it rained to have them cancel the fireworks. Sunday we played outside and again made another attempt to see the fireworks which were successful. The first of many firework displays we will see this week.
- Monday-B is hoping to get the boat in the water today and make sure everything is running smoothly for the summer.
- Tuesday-We have storytime in the morning and then we are hoping to go and see the new Monsters, Inc. Since Tuesday is the bargain day at the local movie theaters we can see the movie for like $6 each (3D).
- Wednesday-Hopefully today will be a quiet day at home, but we could make a trip to Grandma’s to go swimming there.
- Thursday-Today is Target day, and we will be going to the Farmer’s market.
- Friday-We are hoping to go out on the boat today and have some fun. Maybe even have lunch at a downtown restaurant on the river.
- Saturday-B is going to be home, so who knows what the day brings.
- Sunday-Again, B is going to be home, so who knows what the day brings.
