Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
It looks like it is going to be another quite week at home. If we are lucky we may start getting out some of the Christmas decorations. Yes I said it, Christmas decorations.
My Weekly Goals-To get my bedroom clean and in order.
Monday-B has some errands to run. P and I are just hanging out at home, and S has school.
Tuesday-No plans other than hanging out at home.
Wednesday-Another day of hanging out at home.
Thursday-A day at home, relaxing.
Friday-B is picking up overtime tonight so it will just be me and the kiddos at home.
Saturday-We have a Lowe’s build in the morning. B is helping my sister move so we are just going to be hanging out at home.
Sunday-B is off so today so I am going to try to take S to see the new Peanuts movie. B and P might even tag along.
Last Week Recap
Monday was so beautiful we played outside before S went to school. S was standing out at the end of the driveway and the bus drove right past him. I yelled at the bus to stop but it kept right on going. I couldn’t believe it went right past him. I took him to school and talked to the bus driver. She said she never saw him and when she got half way down the road she wondered if he was standing out there waiting for her. She must have seen him subconsciously. Either way he got to school. After school we had the neighbor kids over to play.
Tuesday S did not have school. After P took her morning nap and B got up from working third shift we went up to Mary Jane Thurston and took the boat out on the Maumee River.
We’re going 55 mphs and you can’t even tell because the water was like glass.
P fell asleep from the smooth ride.
Wednesday was another beautiful day and we had the neighbor kids over again after school. S loves to play with his new friends.

Thursday we hung out at home. We went to S’s parent teacher conferences while S hung out with Grandma G and Grandpa Bob. B and I ran to Kohl’s afterward to try to find Christmas outfits for our pictures. We didn’t find any, but got some ideas.
Friday S had the day off from school. We didn’t do anything. We tried to go for a walk but S ended up crashing his bike in the driveway before we even left. The rest of the day we ended up curled up on the couch. When B got home from work we ran to another Kohl’s that had the shirt I wanted and we found a shirt for B. Now we only need something to go under S’s vest. I did manage to come home and find a shirt at Kohls.com for S. Of course I ordered it right away.
Saturday we got up, P took a morning nap and then the three of us ran around to different Targets checking out the 90% Halloween clearance. We picked up quite a bit and spent right around $25. We spent the rest of the day hanging out at home.
Sunday B worked and we literally stayed home all day. The kids played some; S woke P up in the morning super early and again after only an hour of her morning nap. We had a cranky little P, but she got a second nap and woke up in a better mood. I finally got P to take both of her naps; unfortunately I had to take both of them with her. If I have to start all over again getting her to sleep on her own I will. She just needs those naps.
Last Week
My Weekly Goals-I am hoping to work on more reviews, and play outside because the weather is going to be beautiful.
Monday-Depending on what people post online, I may make a trip to Target. I am looking to get some Halloween lights when they go 70% off for outside. S and I are taking the outside decorations down while we wait for his bus. It’s just spiders and lights on one tree.
Tuesday-If I don’t go on Monday, I am definitely going to Target in the morning. In the afternoon, B wants to take the boat on the river. This is probably going to be the last chance before winter sets in.
Wednesday-Today or tomorrow I will be heading out to Target to get the 90% Halloween. I am hoping it is tomorrow because S does not have school on Friday and I don’t see him going to all four Targets with me.
Thursday-Another nice day and B is off. I will probably run to Target today, not sure.
Friday-S is off today for parent/teacher conferences. The new Peanuts movie comes out today. Not sure if we are going to see it today or not.
Saturday-It is the first Saturday of the month, so we will head out to Home Depot for their build. The rest of the day we are hanging out at home.
Sunday-Just a day of hanging out at home while B works. I might start scouring the Internet for leaked Black Friday ads. The fun has begun.
