Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
My Weekly Goals: I would like to work on more Tomoson reviews. There is currently a code by Shutterfly for a free 8×8 book. I am working to get a gift for all my siblings and cousins done so I can order them. The code expires Wednesday night.
Monday-I am heading over to my dad’s to hunt for some stuff to put in the books I am making. S has school. B is off. I think we are just hanging out at home.
Tuesday-Nothing planned, B has to head in to work early. I think he be gone before S gets home from school. Just me and the kids.
Wednesday-S has soccer practice in the evening and P is going to try hanging out with my sister during practice. We are doing a trial run with P to see if she is fine without B or me. Since it is only any hour it is the perfect amount of time. If she is crying it will only be for an hour and she has cried longer than that falling asleep.
Thursday-We may run to the farmer’s market before S gets home from school. Otherwise we are just hanging out at home.
Friday-My niece is cheering at the high school football game. I know S wants to go so if the weather cooperates we will go (sigh!).
Saturday-Today is going to be a busy day. We have a soccer game in the morning. After P’s morning nap we are leaving for Columbus. We have a wedding to go to that starts at 5:30. We plan on leaving by one because there is a home Ohio State game that starts at 3:30pm. The traffic is going to be sooo much fun. To top it all off, B plans on driving home if there is not a cancellation at the hotel by the wedding. (I have been making B call the hotel to check for cancellations daily now.)
Sunday-Either we will be driving home in the morning during P’s first nap, or we will be home and B will be getting ready to go to Bug Fest’. Me I will be hanging out at home with the kiddos. S may go with B, or stay home.
Last Week Recap
It was a quiet week for us.
Monday we hung out at home. B worked third shift so he slept in and then had to leave for work right after S got of the bus.
Tuesday we just hung out at home.
Wednesday we spent the day at home and in the evening went to my dad’s to celebrate my siblings and my birthday.
Thursday was my birthday. The kids and I hung out all day. P and I went shopping at Target after S got on the bus. B picked up overtime so he was gone all day and then got forced over an extra four hours. He didn’t get home till after 10pm. S and I did end up baking a cake for my birthday.
Friday it rained all day, literally. It started about 11am and never stopped until about 7pm. P and I hung out inside. Of course, S’s bus had to be running a little late so I was stuck waiting in the rain. Friday night we hung out with B and grilled.
Saturday we went to the Harrison Rally Day parade in the morning. Both of them loved the parade. We went home had a snack and headed out for S’s first soccer game and pictures. He tried really hard but never scored a goal. The rest of the day we hung out at home and played. After P woke up from her nap we played outside in the stones.
Sunday we planned on hanging out in our pajamas all morning and relaxing all day. P took a super early nap. I had to keep her up till 8:45am. She wanted to go down at 8am. She did get up at 6am. P usually goes down 2 hours after she gets up. S ended up going with Grandma G and Grandpa Bob to a Festival. P and I hung out at home.
Last Week
My Weekly Goals
Monday-Today is Labor Day. S doesn’t have school and we have no plans. I am planning on just hanging out at home with the kids.
Tuesday-S has school and after B gets up, who knows what we are going to do.
Wednesday-We may end up going out on the boat. We are going to try to let S tube a few more times this year. If the weather is nice I am going to work on the architectural scavenger hunt.
Thursday-There is the farmer’s market and B is picking up overtime. WAIT!!!! Today is my birthday!
Friday-My niece is cheerleading at the football game. S and I are going to go and watch, while B stays home with P. Then again, we may just take P with us. It is all going to depend on the weather.
Saturday-Today is Harrison Rally Day. It is a big thing in Perrysburg. There is an awesome little parade in the morning and then tons of vendors that hand out free stuff. We usually get a bunch of new reusable grocery bags, and some water bottles for B.
Sunday-B is working so we will just hang out at home.
