Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
My Weekly Goals-I need to keep on doing more reviews for Tomoson. I got quite a few done in the past few days. I even managed to get some done and schedule them for later this week.
Monday-I have a dentist appointment in the morning, and S has his first swim class of the last session. S has his last tee ball game under the lights at 8:30pm. It should be a fun night of trying to keep them both from melting down.
Tuesday-My niece turns 8 today! Happy Birthday F! We have swim and really no other plans.
Wednesday-We have swim in the morning and then maybe we are going to Chuck E Cheese for dinner to celebrate my niece’s birthday.
Thursday-We have swim and the farmer’s market in the afternoon.
Friday-No plans other than we need to start getting S ready for Kindergarten.
Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s in the morning and then we are just hanging out at home the rest of the day.
Sunday-We will have a quiet morning at home while B sleeps. In the evening we are going to my niece’s birthday party at a local playland. We have never been there and S is really excited.
Last Week Recap
I did accomplish some of my weekly goal for the past week. I got some reviews done and all the products I received are photographed and up on Instagram. (SurvivingMomSteph)
Monday we had tee ball in the morning and what a disaster it was. P was playing with my keys on Sunday and it took me 25 minutes to find them Monday morning. After we got to the game 10 minutes late we couldn’t find his mitt. We finally concluded it must have fallen out of the car at home and was in the driveway. S had to use a mitt from the rec and refused because they were too big and not his. He pouted the entire game and refused to field any balls. He did hit balls when it was his turn. After the game we went home and the mitt was not in the driveway. We searched the car again, did not find it and went back to the park to make sure it didn’t fall out under the van when we got there. Nothing. We went home and I picked a towel up to cover my seat so it wouldn’t be too hot and there the mitt was. In the car the whole time! We went in the house and got ready for swim. After swim and P’s nap we made dirt pudding and went to have dinner and swimming at my dad’s. S got to say goodbye to the twins since they were heading home.
Tuesday we had swim in the morning. While S was swimming P and I played in the pool. She had so much fun playing in the water. Afterward we went home and P took a much needed nap. In the afternoon, F came over. S and F got to play together all afternoon. When B got home from work they got to swim out in the pool for over two hours. They both ate like champs and had no problem coming in to get there showers for the night when it was time. They were both so tuckered out.
Wednesday S had swim. While he was at swim we played in the baby pool. The rest of the day we hung out at home.
Thursday S had tee ball in the morning. We went to swim and then S played with some of his friends. I arranged to meet them there. He loved playing with his little friends. When we came home P took a much needed nap. When B got home from work he took the kids to the farmer’s market and I got to go to all the Targets and check out the toy clearance.
Friday was the first time we did not have a make-up swim class in a long time. I got my haircut in the morning. I had not got it done in over six months. I made a pit stop on the way home to Target.
Saturday S went to a build in the morning at Home Depot and then ran errands with B. When P woke up from her afternoon nap she started walking all over the house. All of a sudden it just clicked. She was walking up and down the halls like crazy. Later the kids and I went to a family reunion. B went to a friends to help him with his roof. The kids had a great time playing at the family reunion. S played softball and did great hitting balls pitched to him. All that practice with the tether ball has really come in handy. P was a spectator on the sidelines and charmed all the fans.
Sunday we hung out at home. S played with a new toy, Kinetic sand. He was entertained by it for hours. My sister came over and played with him for a few hours. P took her afternoon nap and then we went to my dad’s to swim. S loves to swim over there and P is all about walking whenever she can now.
Last Week
My Weekly Goals-I need to get more Tomoson.com reviews. I am getting selected to review like 3-5 items a day. I definitely have to keep up with the reviews or I am going to be in big trouble!
Monday-S has tee ball, and swim. At some point I need to run to the store to get ingredients to make dirt pudding for the twin boys we have been hanging out with. They are a friend of the family’s kids and we love seeing them. They are leaving to go back home so we had a little going away dinner. Since they don’t like peach pie they were totally cool with dirt pudding. We are going to my parents for dinner and swimming (I think).
Tuesday-S is going to recover from his busy weekend. He has had four days of none stop going and this will be his first time to sleep in and relax. He has swim and then we will come home to give P a nap. F is coming over later in the afternoon which S is so excited about.
Wednesday-S has swim and the rest of the day we are hanging out at home. It is going to be another warm day so I am thinking we will be swimming at home.
Thursday-S has tee ball and then swim. This ends the current session of swim classes and there is only one more left for the summer. After B gets home from work we will head up to the farmer’s market.
Friday-I am getting my haircut first thing in the morning, and will be home in time for P to get her morning nap. S will either have a make-up swim class (if class gets cancelled) or he will have his final soccer clinic. I am not sure what is going on the rest of the day. My niece has a program in the evening.
Saturday-S has a Home Depot build in the morning, and we have a family reunion in the afternoon if it works out with P’s naps.
Sunday-As of right now we don’t have any plans.
