Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Another quiet week. I am enjoying these days at home where there is not a lot going on.

My Weekly Goals-I need to get more Tomoson.com reviews. I got a few done last week, but not nearly enough.

Monday-S has tee ball in the morning and then he starts his new session of swim. We have swim earlier in the morning because he graduated to the next class. Those swimming lessons are seriously paying off. He can now doggy paddle on his own and will float if no one is moving in the pool so he doesn’t get water on his face.

Tuesday-S has swim and then we will just hang out at home with B until he goes to work. I am trying to arrange a play date for S after his swim. Hopefully it will work out.

Wednesday-S has swim and we are just hanging out at home.

Thursday-S has tee ball and swim in the morning. After B gets up and ready for work we will head up to the farmer’s market for more peaches, corn, and other fruit.

Friday-B is off, so once he wakes up we will just hang out at home.

Saturday-B picked up overtime so he will be gone all day. We may just go to my parents in the morning so S can swim in a pool that is over his head.

Sunday-B is off so I think we will just hang out at home.

Last Week Recap

I managed to get a few reviews done for Tomoson.com. Although not as many as I would have liked a few is better than none. I got to go to Target Friday and Saturday to hunt for those 90% summer clearance deals. I found a good amount. Not exactly what I wanted but some great surprises.

S did great at swim class. Wednesday his class was cancelled due to thunder so we had a make-up class on Friday. Just once I would like to not have to go to swim on a Friday. I have been letting S play in the water after swim class for the last 15 minutes the pool is open. He loves to play with his little friends.

We set up our pool in the backyard this week. S has been asking for a while now and I finally just decided to do it. He was so happy to help us set the pool up. P had to partake and she played in the water as the pool was filling. S has been in the pool every day since we set it up. He loves to play in the water and with the pool set up in the backyard it makes it so easy for him to be able to swim and I can still watch and entertain P.

We went to the farmer’s market last week and scored a ton of fresh produce. We normally get our corn from Bench’s; sadly they did not have their corn yet, but promise it for this week. They did however have plums. We love their plums. They are tiny bite size sweetness. They are almost like jumbo cherries. You can pop it in your mouth and spit the pit out when you are done. We also got our first batch of peaches from Haslinger’s Orchard. I love their fruit and wait every year for their strawberries, peaches, pears and apples. The peaches smelled amazing and B got his first peach pie of the season. This year they had a good harvest of apricots and this is the first time he had enough to bring to the farmer’s market. I didn’t even know they grew apricots. B got some cucumbers and corn from Keil’s farm.

Last Week

My Weekly Goals-I have a ton of products to review for Tomoson. I really need to get caught up this week. If I do 2-3 a day that would be awesome.

Monday-We have tee ball first thing this morning and then swim. I think this week we are just going to keep it quiet and recover from the garage sale.

Tuesday-We have swim in the late morning and then just hanging out at home.

Wednesday-Same as yesterday swim in the morning and then just hanging out at home.

Thursday-S has tee ball in the morning and then swim.   I need to sign him up for the next session of swim lessons. S loves them and said he wants to keep taking them.   I think we will do a quick trip to the farmer’s market in the afternoon. I am hoping the peaches will be ready. Then we are going to the Mud Hens game in the evening. It is BP family night and there was no way I was missing this. S gets tons of awesome free Mud Hens swag courtesy of BP. He is excited for his ice cream sundae in a batting helmet.

Friday-S has his soccer clinic in the early afternoon and then we are spending the rest of the day at home. A quiet day at home, we haven’t had one in forever.

Saturday-Another day of no plans. B is working so we are just going to hang out at home.

Sunday-Again another quiet day at home. I might just get used to this.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
