Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week. Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans. Since I now have two little ones to take care of I am going to post weekly goals for myself to try to hold myself accountable. I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.
This Week
My Weekly Goals-I have a ton of products to review for Tomoson. I really need to get caught up this week. If I do 2-3 a day that would be awesome.
Monday-We have tee ball first thing this morning and then swim. I think this week we are just going to keep it quiet and recover from the garage sale.
Tuesday-We have swim in the late morning and then just hanging out at home.
Wednesday-Same as yesterday swim in the morning and then just hanging out at home.
Thursday-S has tee ball in the morning and then swim. I need to sign him up for the next session of swim lessons. S loves them and said he wants to keep taking them. I think we will do a quick trip to the farmer’s market in the afternoon. I am hoping the peaches will be ready. Then we are going to the Mud Hens game in the evening. It is BP family night and there was no way I was missing this. S gets tons of awesome free Mud Hens swag courtesy of BP. He is excited for his ice cream sundae in a batting helmet.
Friday-S has his soccer clinic in the early afternoon and then we are spending the rest of the day at home. A quiet day at home, we haven’t had one in forever.
Saturday-Another day of no plans. B is working so we are just going to hang out at home.
Sunday-Again another quiet day at home. I might just get used to this.
Last Week Recap
It was a busy and chaotic week for us. We definitely had our hands full trying to get ready for the garage sale. I had my sister come over a few nights to help watch P so I could get stuff ready. There is no way I could get ready for a garage sale and watch P, it never would have happened.
We did pretty well with the garage sale, but I was hoping we would have done better. Unfortunately it didn’t make it in the local paper which draws a huge crowd. Thursday it rained hard most of the day. We had a slow start to the garage sale, but by the end of the day we had made over $300. Not bad for only being open 8am-1pm. I can only imagine how much better we could have done if it had been in the paper and not rained. Friday was much of the same. There was no rain, but it was a very slow day. I managed to make over $200. We had only planned on doing the garage sale Thursday and Friday, but I still had so many baby clothes. I wrote “Saturday Special” on masking tape and had B put it all over the signs posted in the neighborhood. I decided to go ahead and open Saturday 8am-12pm. I was happy to get any traffic and ended up making just over $100. Overall I made over $600 from the garage sale. Not bad for my first ever garage sale.
Sunday we hung out at home and basically took the day to recover from the craziness. P is taking more and more steps on her own. She has started trying to move from location to location on her own when she is not being coaxed.
Last Week
Weekly Goals-I am hoping to get everything ready for the garage sale and then sell it all at the garage sale this weekend.
Monday-S has tee ball in the morning and then swim. B is working for the landscaper all day. I am hoping to get a little done for the garage sale it all depends if P cooperates. In the late afternoon/early evening I plan on going to my parents to go swimming with the kids.
Tuesday-S has swim in the morning and hopefully the rest of the day I can work on getting everything ready for the garage sale.
Wednesday-S has swim and this is the last day to get ready for the garage sale. This is going to be the first garage sale I have ever actually done where I sell my stuff. I have helped my mom but never done my own.
Thursday-S has tee ball in the morning and swim. We are having our garage sale. B and I still haven’t worked out who is going to stay home and man the garage sale and who is going to take S to his stuff. My niece is turning 11 today so we are headed over to her house in the evening for dinner and cake.
Friday-S has soccer clinic and we are having the second day of the garage sale. B is off to work in the evening.
Saturday-We are only going to have the garage sale today if necessary. As of Sunday night they are predicting it to be in the 90s on Saturday. Too hot for me to be sitting around trying to sell stuff. B will be sleeping most of the morning and that means I have to take care of two kids and try to run a garage sale. Probably not, but you never know.
Sunday-It is going to be another hot day. If we don’t have the pool set up in the backyard yet, then I am headed to my parents to swim the day away. We will definitely head over there in the morning while B is sleeping.
