S loves to play with marbles. Does he play with marbles like he is supposed to? No, he loves to bury them in his sandbox and dig them up like buried treasure. When I showed S these marbles he was not impressed. To him they were like any other cat’s eye marbles. When I showed him the shooter that came with the marbles it was like the Holy Grail of marbles.
The shooter to S was like finding a golden nugget. He could not wait to take it out to the sandbox and bury it. I was going to show him how to play with marbles. When I came out from getting P up for her nap, S was gone and so were the marbles. I looked outside and he was busy in the sandbox. Those marbles never stood a chance.
