I love my current credit card holder, but was willing to try something new. The La Fede’s Aqua Series Leather Card Holder could hold 4 cards, with a top slot for 1-3 cards or bills folded. The card holder is made of 100% cow hide. It comes in three colors black, navy blue, and reddish-brown.
I was given the reddish-brown card holder to review. When I received it in the mail it came in a nice box. The card holder was in a “dust bag” with care instructions. To me it looked like any other card holder. I didn’t think it was especially nice. It just seemed ordinary. I tried my cards in the slots and they fit in them with no issues. I would have liked it if the top slot had some kind of magnetic closure and could hold a few coins like a coin purse.
I don’t know if I would use this in exchange for a wallet, but maybe to put in a clutch to hold a few items when I don’t need to take everything. This may hold the minimum for a man when they do not want to carry their wallet packed full of everything and only need a few cards and id. For example this would be much easier to carry at a wedding in your back pocket or suit jacket and not have a bulky bulge in dress pants. I would not pay $24.99 for this. If you will only use leather that is 100% cow hide, then this is perfect. For me it could have been a heavy duty plastic and I would have been just as satisfied.
