Kohl’s Coupon Purchases

Since I had spent so much money last week getting clothes for S and P I had $30 in Kohl’s cash to spend.  My MIL gave me her $10 that she got and was not going to use.  I also got a $10 coupon in the mail for my birthday month.  I had $50 to spend on anything I wanted at Kohl’s and don’t you know could not find enough to spend it all.  The sales were not great so I had to spend so much more than I wanted on just two outfits for P.  I am going to try to get a price adjustment of some kind this week on them.  After the $50 in coupons I only spent $13.48 and got all of this.  To keep P happy I included her in the pics which entertained her long enough to snap the few pics I needed.

• I got S three shirts I thought he would love a monster truck long-sleeve t-shirt, a motorcycle long-sleeve t-shirt and a train hooded sweatshirt.  S loves hooded sweatshirts and the fact that they have one big pocket in the front.  The t-shirts were $7.99 each and the sweatshirt was $11.99.

• I saw the new Carter’s outfits for fall and loved the three-piece outfits.  The car outfit is supposed to be for boys, but I don’t see putting that color or pants on a boy.  I think it will look great on P.  I love the colors of the fox outfit and that there is a fox on it.  I hate the sale they had on them.  It was ‘buy 1 get 1 half off.’  So I paid $24 for the first outfit and $12 for the second outfit for a total of $36.  Usually the outfits are 50% off and I would have only paid $24 for both outfits.  Since I used coupons I am not sure how I can figure it out to get a price adjustment but I will.
