I have faithfully put mattress covers on the crib mattress and now S’s twin mattress for as long as we have had them.  I wanted to make it easier for those middle of the night change outs.  Instead of having to clean up a mattress the only thing I have to do is pull the sheet and mattress cover.  It makes it so much easier and faster.  I always like to have an extra mattress cover so I can remake the bed right away.  The two mattress covers that I used when S was a baby have seen better days and the water proof liner ripped and no longer works.  I recently got another mattress cover that was made of bamboo.  There was no plastic liner that made noise every time P moved and loved how absorbent it could be.

We had to add a comforter on top of P’s mattress because she likes it soft and well padded.  The Hello Baby Waterproof Crib Mattress Cover is made with quilted ultra-soft white bamboo terry fitted sheet style.  There was an extra cushion to this cover that I am hoping is enough that we can finally take the comforter off her crib.  I love how it is waterproof and doesn’t have the plastic lining that makes so much noise every time the baby moves.

The Hello Baby Waterproof Crib Mattress Cover is made with Organic bamboo which is softer and more absorbent than cotton.  The skirt is larger so it makes it easy to get it on and off the crib mattress.  I was using this mattress cover as my back-up until I realized how much better P slept with this cover.  This has become my primary mattress cover and I only use the other one I have as a back-up.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
