Back in August, I signed up for a free month to try the Kids Box by Goodies. After I filled everything out it said I was on a wait list and would receive my first box in October. Happily the box came this week and is going to provide S will new treats to try on our tiny mini vacation we are taking. It is just over three hours one way so this could really keep him busy.
The outside of the box is super cute and S was excited that he could color a box and then hide some of his treasures in it. This box came USPS and arrived relatively fast.
The box came with a cute little postcard of a walrus dressed up as a cat for Halloween. The Goodies co. is made by Wal-Mart so I wonder if the Walrus is because of Wal-Mart.
Pretzel Crisp Original-This is a great little snack size for S to try. He loves pretzels so I think he will like this little spin on pretzels.
Rockin’ola ChocoBerry-This is another great little snack that I cannot wait for S to try. B seemed pretty excited to try it, too. Rockin’ola is chocolate granola clusters with real freeze-dried strawberry yogurt drops.
Warheads Sour Twists-I will totally love these. I am not one to give S any candy. An occasional Tootsie Roll or Dum Dum sucker but that is about it. He said he really wants to try these so I may give him a bite but that will be about it.
Warheads Sour Chewy Cubes-I cannot wait to try these in the car, but don’t really want to give S any. I may give him a small bite, if he asks for it when I am eating them.
GudFud Fruit Jelly Stuffed Marshmallows-S is all about marshmallows and with these having a little jelly inside it made him even more excited. A few days ago he was being sneaky and snuck out to the kitchen opened the outer package and then opened up the package with the grape jelly. When I asked him he was so proud of himself that he had eaten one of the marshmallows. When I told him he was supposed to share them with B, he just said, “Shhh, don’t tell him I ate one.” What a little sneak!
Apple Cinnamon Fig Bar-I told S this was a really special fruity bar and he will love it. He is so excited to try a “special” fruity bar and asked if he could eat it on the way to the trains. Yup, no problem, what a great snack!
Lunchables Jr. Teddy Bear Picnic-I have never seen these before, but I think S is going to love it. Teddy Grahams, and dried apple pieces to dip in some peanut butter, this is going to be one great snack.
Happy Squeeze Fruit & Veggie Twist-S loves to drink these when we are out and about. At home we make homemade smoothies, but these are great for on the go or when we go on vacation. S was excited to try this new flavor and really liked it.
Orbit Gum for Kids-Gum strawberry-banana flavor, yum. S has never had gum before so I told him they sent this for mommies and he was all about that. He just said, “That was nice.”
Sneaky Pete’s Oat Beverage Mango-I told S this was a new juice for him and once I put it in the fridge to chill it he liked the juice. I gotta say it didn’t taste bad at all. I actually enjoyed it myself.
Unfortunately, the day I got this package I checked my email later in the day and received an email from Goodies Co. It said they were no longer going to be in business and October was the last month to receive a box. They said if you liked anything you received in the past or wanted to try new products to check out Wal-Mart. Bummer, I totally loved the box and would have loved to subscribe to this monthly. It seems like a great way to get new treats for S and me.
Disclosure: This box was received at no cost to me. All thoughts and opinions are all mine and S.
