Enjoy my Friday’s Letters.
Dear P, I love that we got your first real smile out of you today. Sure we have had the gas smiles and dream smiles, but when you looked at me and smiled, it melted my heart. Now you need to smile for your dad and brother. S has been trying so hard to get you to smile.
Dear S, I hope you can kick this cold pretty fast. I am worried your sister is going to get it. When I asked the doctor he said if she gets sick we would probably end up in the hospital. That means I may have to spend another night away from you. I know you don’t want that and neither do I.
Dear B, I gotta tell you I am pretty nervous about you working at night and not being home with me. Now I have to worry about getting up with P (which is no big deal), and S waking up. No way could I of handled S and P this week alone when S woke up with croup. I just really hope P does not get sick while you are at work. I don’t want to have to take her to the ER alone, and what about S?Dear Justin, I was worried about wearing my Tigers shirt yesterday with your name and number on it. I am not sure what is going on, but that performance on Wednesday was sad. What is up with you and the 6th inning? I really hope you can turn it around so I can wear your number and not have to worry about getting dirty looks from other people.
Dear Haslinger Orchard, I am so glad you made it to the Farmer’s Market yesterday. I was worried those dark clouds might keep you away. The strawberries we got from you were amazing. There were so sweet and juicy. I could not wait to get home and make baby food for P to eat when she gets older.
