Here is a show and tell of my pics from the past week. I am a day late at doing this because P woke up last night crazy crying and I had to lie down with her to calm her down and fell asleep myself. I was able to catch her crawling in a series of pics before she went to bed last night.
- P is learning to finally crawl. At this point it is more of a reach, push, and roll to get there. She will roll over, look at you (like, oops I didn’t mean to roll over), and then rolls back over and tries again to move forward again.
- I don’t know why, but S loves to roll P over on top of him. She is okay with it about 50% of the time. She really loves her big brother and he loves her. I wouldn’t say really because she still annoys him about 30% of the time. It is a huge improvement from when she was born. He likes that she is more interactive with him now.
- S got to make homemade donuts for the first time out of Pillsbury biscuits. I did this all the time when I was little. B had never made these before and seriously doubted that they would be good. He was pleasantly surprised.
- S is always big into mixing colors and creating new colors. We have mixed colors before in liquids so I told him we would do it with Playdoh. We started out with the three primary colors and went from there to make a ton of other colors. S really liked doing this and was at it for a few hours before he was done.
- P was sitting there watching us play with the Playdoh. Since she was being so good we gave her some Playdoh to play with. She was really good about it and never once took her binky out. At first she was apprehensive about touching the Playdoh. Really she only played with it for like 10 seconds.
- Like father, like son. They were lounging in the new chairs under S’s bed. B had his hands behind his head and when S saw that he did it, too. The chairs are actually really comfortable. S likes it because now he doesn’t have to take his name chair from the living room to the bedroom and back so he can have a chair in both rooms.
