I am finally getting around to Foto Friday. Since it is a day late I am only going to do one picture which sums up our past week.
First Day of Preschool
S had his first real day of preschool on Friday. He was so excited to go to school and was willing to wear the outfit I picked out, let me comb his hair down, and brush his teeth. When we got to school S walked right up to his teacher’s aide and was ready to go. When B and I picked S up from school his teacher said he did great. When he said bye to his teacher and classmates, a bunch of the students said “Bye, Sawyer.” I was so touched that the kids were calling him by name.
S told me the night before when he got home from school he wanted to climb in my bed and have snuggle time with me. He said if I let him watch cartoons he would snuggle with me for even longer. Well when we got home I started taking pictures of all the buys I got at the stores and B hollered for me to let me know that S was in bed waiting for me. I was laughing because I could not believe S was actually in bed waiting for me. I had totally forgot about the promise from the night before. I never thought he was serious. I gave him his snuggle time and it lasted for almost a half hour before he was ready to get up and play outside.
I guess he is still my little boy!
