Foto (Photo) Friday is my show and tell of pictures from the last week. I am going to do this a little different this week. First of all it is a day late, and I am going to do a recap of the past 10 years of marriage for B and me.
- B and I got married on February 29, 2004, after almost 3 years of dating. This is a picture of us on our honeymoon in Hawaii downhill bicycling.
- When we got home I finished my bachelor degree and got Derby as my graduation gift. She was so cute and loveable. However, she has never been a lap dog. She is a Great Dane stuck in a Yorkie body (or so she thinks)!
- In 2006, after B redid our first house, literally everything, we sold it after only being on the market for 3 days. With nowhere to go we lived with my parents for three months.
- In the fall of 2006, we bought our current house and B is still in the process of redoing it top to bottom. We had no idea the extent of what we would have to redo when we bought the house.
- In December of 2008, Pudge (our first baby,or dog) was diagnosed with cancer and given less than 6 weeks to live. If we did chemo we could give her 6 months. At that point I was not ready to lose her before Christmas so we did the chemo. In dogs it actually makes them feel better and not sick. We had Pudge back for 6 months and during that time she got me through my first trimester of pregnancy and morning sickness. We would lay on a mattress on the floor in our living room both being sick. I would not have given up those extra 6 months with Pudge for anything.
- In December of 2009, we became a family of three. S was born and life as we knew it changed forever!
- When S was only 4 months old, B really wanted another dog and now here is PJ. I did not want a new dog with a new baby, but gave in when I saw the picture of PJ, and regretted it for the next 6 months as she destroyed our house. PJ and S are just about the same age (PJ is approx. a month younger.)
- September of 2013, we found out we were pregnant with baby #2.
After 10 years of marriage we got a new dog, bought and sold our houses, lost a dog, had our first baby, got a new dog, and now our expecting our second baby. It sure has been a busy 10 years, I can only imagine what the next 10 years will be like.
I am linking up with Jen @ Ramblings of a Suburban Mom. She does iPhone Dump and I do Foto Friday. So pretty close!
