Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week. It was a pretty quiet week of just hanging out around the house.
- When P woke up on Saturday she was so excited for her sleepover that night (at May’s with A and L) that she packed her stuff right away. She knew she was going to head over in her pajamas and come home in them so we didn’t have to pack any clothes. She got her pillow, sleeping bag, Elsa doll, and Elsa and Dory night lights ready to take with her.
- P was so excited to go to sleep. She tried her best with L, but just couldn’t fall asleep. After about an hour and half she finally asked me if she could just go home to go to sleep. (I was there hanging out with my neighbors.) She is now talking about when she can try again. Maybe in a few weeks.
- P got to finally meet Anna at Winterfest. She got to meet Elsa in December but loved that they had their Olaf’s Frozen Adventure outfits on. P gave them each a hug, Spiderman included !
- We walked around looking at the ice sculptures and taking pictures with the sculptures that matched the clues for a scavenger hunt. P said it was too hard for her to walk around in her fleece lined pants and snow boots so she rode around in the wagon. We left at just the right time because the snow and wind were picking up.
- P and S played in the snow on Saturday afternoon and all day on Sunday. S really wanted to build a snow fort with his brick mold. P was all about riding on the 4-wheeler with B. I was only too happy to hang out inside and stay warm.
- I found a ton of remote control cars at Walgreens 90% Christmas clearance. Some are going to be for gifts, an Easter basket gift, and the others will be for S to play with and have fun. The cars ranged in price from $1.29 to $2.99. That is amazing prices. Unfortunately I didn’t find any of the really big remote control cars but I think S got enough for Christmas.
- A and P had fun making cookies this week. They each took turns getting cookie dough off the mixer attachment to eat.
- Oh my gosh, this girl has so much spunk and personality. We were at May’s and she comes into the room wearing these sunglasses. The best part was she was walking around like this and not looking through the lenses. I couldn’t stop laughing at her which she did not find very funny.
